## What is Elderhub?

Most medication apps assume you are tracking your own pills. Elderhub assumes you are not.

If you help look after a parent, a spouse, or both, you already know the problem: the real list lives in three places at once. Some of it is in your head, some of it is on a scrap of paper in a kitchen drawer, and some of it is whatever the pharmacy printed out last spring. Then a nurse asks what she takes, and you are guessing.

Elderhub keeps one current list per person, so you always have the answer.

MORE THAN ONE PERSON
Add Mom, Dad, and yourself. Each person gets their own medications, their own schedule, and their own history. Switch between them in one tap.

THE LIST A DOCTOR ACTUALLY WANTS
Name, strength, form, what it is for, who prescribed it, and the instructions that matter. Not just an alarm.

ONE TAP TO HAND IT OVER
The emergency card renders the whole picture in large type: allergies, conditions, every active medication, and emergency contacts. Share it as plain text into a message or an email, or read it straight off the screen in a waiting room. It works with no signal.

MARK DOSES ON SOMEONE ELSE'S BEHALF
Log a dose as taken or skipped, and the entry records who did it. Useful when more than one person is helping.

WHAT THE DOCTOR SAID
Log a visit while it is fresh: the provider, the reason, the notes, and the follow up. Six weeks later you will not have to reconstruct it.

VITALS WORTH WATCHING
Blood pressure, weight, glucose, heart rate, temperature and oxygen, recorded over time.

SHARE A CARE CIRCLE
Invite family by email, link, or a code that is easy to read over the phone. Helpers can see and update every person in the care circle. A parent or partner invited to their own record sees only themselves. There are no per-person seat fees for invited family members.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
The record works on this phone with no account and no signal. If you choose to share, sign in with Apple. You choose who joins, and database rules control what each member can see and edit.

ONE PERSON, EVERY FEATURE, FREE
The free version includes medications, doses, reminders, visits, readings, tasks, notes, contacts, check-in, emergency card, and export for one person. Elderhub Plus adds more people to the same care circle. Invited family members are always free.

Elderhub Plus is available monthly or yearly, each with a 1-week free trial for eligible new subscribers, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and vary by region. After a trial, payment is charged through your Apple ID and the selected subscription renews automatically each month or year unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal is charged within 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings. See our Privacy Policy and Apple's Standard EULA.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-05

The emergency card now says who to call first. The primary contact is badged on the card and marked in the copy you share or print, so whoever is holding it does not have to work it out from the order of the list.

The card is also complete. Every critical section is drawn even when it is empty, so a section that is blank reads as "not recorded" rather than as one that is missing. It prints the date of birth, the same medication detail as the shared one-pager, and when the record was last updated.

Check-in on the Everyone screen. A check-in that has not been pressed keeps that person on the day's list instead of filing them under "Nothing due today", and every person's emergency card is one tap from the screen a two-person phone opens on.

Reminders now say when iOS has turned them off. A switch that used to slide back on its own with no explanation tells you the answer is in iOS Settings, and takes you there.

Bigger controls, and a way back. The dose button and the check-in button are larger, named for VoiceOver, and follow your text size. Doses, tasks and bills can all be undone from Today.

When two phones disagree about a row, the conflicts screen shows both versions before asking which one to keep.

Signing out now clears the shared record from the phone, and a change to who can see whom applies on the next launch rather than waiting for someone to open Sharing.

Fixed: something one family member logged no longer reads as "Logged by You" on everybody else's screen.

Fixed: phone numbers group as you type, and correcting a digit in the middle of one no longer sends the cursor to the end.

Fixed: leaving setup with "Finish later" keeps the answer you were part-way through typing.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-08-28

Everyone's day on one screen. With more than one person in your circle, Today now opens on all of them, so a missed morning dose is visible without switching records.

Bills. Track what is owed and what has been paid, with recurring bills and autopay kept out of the overdue list.

Appointments. A visit dated in the future is an appointment, listed on Today for the week ahead with a reminder the evening before.

Medications you can pause. Stop a medication without deleting it, and keep every dose you logged. Weekly and other day-specific schedules are now shown everywhere the medication is.

Choose who sees whom. Limit a family member to particular people in the circle, rather than all of them.

Tap a reminder and it opens the person it names.

Fixed: reminders are now grouped per person and time, so a long medication list no longer pushes the evening's reminders off the device. The app tells you if any do not fit.

Fixed: joining a family circle now downloads the whole record. A birthday saved without a time of day could stop a newly joined phone from receiving anything at all, and a record now arrives in order rather than in pieces. If your phone already downloaded half a record, this update goes back for the rest of it. Deleting a person no longer stops the rest of the family's visits and tasks from arriving.
