All three games are great. The only flaw with this is they all don’t go together when it comes to the storylines so they don’t continue like from the first game to the second game to the third game like all three different storylines and different kinda like a movie you know like say Mortal Kombat or you know all different movies have continuous storyline for one movie to another so like the first game should continue to the storyline to the second one and then the second one should continue to the third one that type of thing, it’s like all three games have separate storylines that don’t make no sense that was only flaw, but all of all the things are great everything all the fighting things all the You know for people that are blind. It’s blind accessible. It’s everything it’s great. You guys doing good things for it. I hope you make more games. I really enjoyed red tide (and Untold) and was excited for a new game but did not expect them to make such strides in the mechanics. It’s awesome to get a fresh storyline as well! This gave me hours and hours of entertainment to go through the game once. I can’t wait to play it again and again to experiment with all of the different weapons and Storey options. This is my first of the Eldrum games. I was a little shocked that it required a purchase to play, but it’s worth every cent. Now I have to go backwards and play the other two games. I hope they are half of black dust. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — To difficult *2024-12-04* The game is based of rng not skill… you do everything and you still come across people u cannot avoid and u just die always and praying for good rng to dodge attacks and for crits… even if you got 75% dodge chance u get hit every single turn time to get my money back… ### 2/5 — Lots to enjoy, but… *2026-03-02* The black cloak ambushes are relentless, annoying and don’t go away after you visit the bank. There doesn’t seem to be Perception or Agility as a way to avoid them. I was having fun but the ambushes eventually felt so ham-handed I put the game down. Only major flaw in my opinion, but it is one. ### 3/5 — I enjoyed it, wish the combat wasn’t so slow *2025-01-30* Played it through, and the ending a couple times. It didn’t feel as satisfying of an ending with their prior installments. You just.. don’t know about what happens to some of the side characters, and not quite as interesting or invested in them. Time and time again, the player has to retighten battles over and over again hoping he can get lucky enough to prevail because all other options are closed to him. Deeply frustrated by the amount of time wasted on this tedium. The final battle is the worst of them all. **Developer response:** Hi! The improvements and general advancement of each game has been awesome to see. Black Dust was exceptional, and now that I see there is a DLC since I’ve last played it’s time to load it back up. ### 5/5 — Great game DLC makes it even better *2026-04-01* For fans of this series, this third installment plus it’s DLC R must plays. This is a proper sequel in some ways to red tide. If you’ve played the previous installment, you’ll find the same interesting continuation of the world’s story seeing some familiar faces, depending on what storylines you chose to play through previously and seeing sort of what the overall canonical story for the world is. The combat in this third game is slightly more nuanced or complex than red tide, but very similar the abilities part of the game are a great addition and the traits section of your character sheet gives you more opportunity in what type of fighter you want your character to be allowing you to choose more effectively what type of combat you are. It has all the same big and little choices that you see reflected in the ending of the game as the previous two installments did. The DLC is great. It adds more lore and a whole new location for you to explore plus some more story plus new gear and you might see again faces from other places you may know. I personally loved this game. Had a great time with it. Used to play a lot of RPG‘s, but then lost my eyesight recently in the last like three years so have had a lot of that taken away from me unfortunately but games like this have given me a taste of that again in a great way. ### 5/5 — banger after banger *2026-03-14, version 1.7.7* i started with red tide, played untold in the interim, enjoyed black dust a ton when it came out, and now with the new dlc have started revisiting the games. i cannot overstate how much i like all of these, there’s clearly a lot of love and passion that goes into their development. ### 5/5 — Best in the series yet! *2026-02-24* The first two games were interesting but never roped me in enough to purchase.
