Eldrum: Red Tide is a dark fantasy story about a former soldier who is searching for his family in a world ravaged by war. Your brother is gone without a trace. What happened to him? The answer to this question lies at the end of a long and dangerous journey. The world has changed. The place where you were born was burned to ash. People out there are struggling to survive.

You are a shadow of your former self, having suffered grave injuries during the war. But the past is the past. What matters is the here and now. You have the freedom to shape your own destiny.

This game strays away from all games of its type. It has no ai slop. and a great story. Need you anymore reason? The artwork is all beautiful and well made. and the story includes unique characters, a variety of options, and great dialogue. The combat system is somewhat basic but definitely fits the type of game. Some more reasons it stands leagues above other similar games is, your stats, items, and choice of words, can all change what you can do in the game, making it feel super immersive. Additionally, theres great options for what you can do/say, but not so much it becomes overwhelming. Also, I Personaly love that old areas you visited gain new options after doing some parts of the story. As it makes the story feel much more real and gives more reason to keep exploring the world. Only thing you could hate is the games simplicity, and the large amounts of reading. But if you chose to play this style of game, then a large sum of reading is to be expected. Overall, id give this a 9/10. For a mobile game, it is one of the best on the market.
