### 1/5 — Money Hungry App

*2026-09-25*

Why is this game so money hungry? They make it so you have to spend money to play. Terrible business model.

**Developer response:** Hi Schmickles99, thanks for playing and for the honest feedback.

To be clear: you can finish the entire campaign without paying a cent. Every wait timer can be waited out, and the campaign cash you need can be earned by watching ads. Running for President is meant to feel expensive, because it is, but no purchase is ever required to reach election night..

The subscription and the cash packs are there for players who want to skip the waiting. If you do pick one up, you're supporting a very small team that has spent months writing acts, endings, dozens of characters and every piece of art in the game, and that lets us keep building it..

We've also heard you on the early campaign being too tight. The next update makes the first hires nearly free, so the first stretch of the race plays out before money ever becomes the issue! So please come back and give it another try!
