Stay away! *2009-04-20* Some of the formulas do not even produce correct results. I was showing the cost of using an appliance calculator to a customer, to help them understand their electric bills - and looked like a complete idiot with the results the App was giving me. The results there are incredibly inaccurate. How could this App have 3 stars as a average!?! Who is using this App? Obviously not qualified electricians, because they should know that some of it is not producing correct results. Total crap. Don't waste your money! The format is boring and not user friendly. For example; instead of a list like DC amps, AC amps, amps 1 phase, amps 3 phase etc., have an amps tab then we can choose between dc or ac then we can choose between 1 or 3 phase etc. This would eliminate the very long list of formulas (if these are even accurate formulas). I tried several and got no solid info that I could use or trust. I found the app of little use - most of the results are highly inaccurate. As a professional engineer, many of the formulae are dangerously misleading. Had problems with Pro version, contacted author, very professional. Had resolved in less than 12 hours. How's that for dedication to your creation. Very informative for any level electrical reference and calculation. I've used it extensively during my Electrical and Instrumentation apprenticeship. ### 5/5 — Not exact what I expected it to be *2010-11-06* I bought this program to use for my Electronics classes. Found that this program tends to round to the nearest whole number versus giving exact calculations. E.g. What should be displayed 0.81 Watts turns to 1 Watts as the answer.
