The official app from Electro-Voice for mobile device control of portable loudspeakers.

Electro-Voice QuickSmart App is an essential tool for simultaneously configuring, controlling, and monitoring on up to 6 Bluetooth™ equipped EV portable loudspeakers Including ZLX G2 series, ELX200 series, EVOLVE series and EVERSE series. Using BLE connectivity, you can adjust EQ settings, gain, preset, and crossover parameters while in front of your PA system.  You can even mix your entire show on the fly from your device with mixer equipped speakers like EVOLVE 30M/50M and EVERSE 8 and EVERSE 12. Have peace of mind knowing that you are treating your system well during a performance with signal and limiter status indicators, battery life indicators for EVERSE, as well as notifications for loss on connection and input clip events. Make quick adjustments to multiple speakers at once with dynamic component grouping and locate your speakers in a dark show room with LED identification.

This app does what it needs to do; it’s pretty useful.  It does take a little while sometimes to connect and sometimes completely unsuccessful with some devices, not sure why.  Can you please make the channel virtual LED meters a little larger? They’re really tiny, and there’s space to make them more visible.

We have used this fora couple tears now and absolutely love it! It is so nice to live mix on stage when performing!

We use it with an EV 50M when we are doing a solo/duo or trio setup. We also use it with a matched pair of EV 50 Ms when we have a larger setup. 

One thing I would love to see is the ability to view all inputs on one screen when working with a pair of EVs  without having to select each speaker. Other than that, love it!!
