### 3/5 — Good app, but bug and missing feature

*2024-09-22*

Overall I really like the app, and it pairs great with my Element Optics Rangefinder 1500 and elements optics scope. That said: (1) major barometer bug - was present on my iPhone 14 Pro Max and now is still a bug on my iPhone 16 Pro Max: the barometer constantly is “unavailable”, and has NEVER functioned, all permissions granted to app and (2) the app does not have an altitude adjustment. It would also be excellent if more than 4 profiles were supported.

### 3/5 — Needs to update ammo selection

*2024-08-04*

Good app especially since Stelok is no longer available. But absolutely needs to update newer airgun slug selection. Very few if any.357 slugs listed or at least add the most popular NSA 93gr slugs. Most choices list .257 as the largest slug available. .30 and.35 are neglected.

### 3/5 — Needs more

*2024-06-03*

Wish it would let you put in your altitude for BC correction

### 3/5 — Nexus EHR-1D MOA reticle?

*2024-02-06*

😤😤😤

### 3/5 — Needs work

*2023-06-04*

As expected the debut version is buggy. Crashes when running calculations. Missing some of their reticles.
Only 4 profiles can be loaded. Many of us own a LOT more than 4 rifles.
Needs some work.

### 3/5 — It’s ok, but it’s no Strelok

*2023-05-31, version 1.0*

The interface is better than the mtc or Hornady, but it’s no Strelok.
I.e. when the reticle is shown you can dial but only in one whole MRAD, with Strelok it’s 0.1 increments. Plus the fonts are very small and it’s not that intuitive. It’s not bad for free, which is good because if you had to pay I’d be disappointed. I sure Element will improve this as that’s the type of company they are, but this definitely needs improvement considering it’s competition which does everything just that little bit better.

### 1/5 — Bug

*2026-08-04*

Hello Element support
I would like to report what appears to be a bug in the iOS version of Element ballistic When viewing the reticle, the zoom/magnification display does not work correctly on my iPhone. My reticle has a total application only displays up to 8 MRAD, even when I try to adjust the view. As a result, the full reticle is not visible.
The same reticle and settings work correctly in the Android version of the app, where the entire reticle can be displaye seems to be specific to the iOS version.
In my case, the reticle view shows "Ranging: 6X" and "Current: 24X", but the display remains limited and does not show the complete reticle.
Could you please investigate this issue and let me know if there is a setting I am missing or if this is a known bug in the iOS version?

### 1/5 — Sever Issues

*2026-04-27*

Not sure what happened with their update. The entered zero distance does not coincide with the actual distance (i.e. 45 yds entered shows as 43 yds on the table). Now it won’t load different profiles. I have profile 1 for my drs tac pellets and 2 for my panthera with slugs. My helix range finder is stuck on some weird profile that does not coincide with any of the 4 profiles on my app. Please fix these issues ASAP. Gonna have to go back to turret stickers until this is solved.

### 1/5 — Says pairing is successful, but never returns to the Home Screen

*2025-06-28*

Meh

### 2/5 — Was very good until…

*2026-04-28*

I liked the app. New to air guns and used this app. Found it to be very useful, accurate (for me) and had a good database of pellets and slugs. However, a recent update has wiped all my data for my FX rifles. It took days for me to tune and find the tunes and zeros on my to air rifles and then this. Thank goodness the data is written down.

### 2/5 — No altitude adjustment???

*2024-05-19*

The Helix 1500 rangefinder is great but how do you leave altitude adjustment out of a ballistics app!?!?

### 3/5 — Love the app.....but

*2026-07-24*

I love this app. I really like how customizable it is. Pairs great with the rangefinder. However, it has a few bugs. Lots of issues with profiles. BC profiles and caliber don't want to update. Keep changing back no matter what I choose.

### 3/5 — Not a great update

*2026-06-21, version 1.7.3*

Post update the app is not staying up and stable long enough to run a profile tune.

Please fix it. I’m putting my dope in running optimise and it never completes

### 3/5 — New app

*2026-06-11*

Hey just wanted to share that the new app in my opinion is not a big improvement. The part that really upset me was that you blew out all of my profiles that I had. I did use the export tool from the old app to backup my profiles however, they are in a proprietary format and the new app does not appear to have the option to import the data. Still a fan of Element!

### 3/5 — Great balistic app

*2026-05-12, version 1.7.2*

Update looks great. But compared to last version it has been very inconsistent. It stalls or crashes regularly. Several attempts to set and tune profiles before it saves. Difficulties encountered linking to my Titan 3k. Please fix so it works as well as it used to. I want my functionality back to tie in with my range finder and scopes (great products too). Please get the app back to 100%. Then it’s a 5 star app.

### 3/5 — Useful, but needs pellet database to be updated.

*2025-09-20*

I like the app. The reticles are there, but the pellet database is severely lacking. There is no way to add to the database. The only option is a one time use “custom” projectile.

## Most praised reviews (6 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — full featured, no fluff

*2024-03-24, version 1.6*

pretty great design, it has all the functionality without wasting screen realestate with visual junk.

I would love if the ballistic table could be configured with a minimum range to remove the 0-15m rows for example to further simplify what’s on screen.
Also some control over showing/hiding columns in the table, and customising font size.

### 5/5 — Well done

*2024-02-19, version 1.6*

As usual the element team have done a wonderful job of making something that simply works and works well. Thank you

### 4/5 — Works great but…

*2024-08-06*

In context of high-power airgun shooting: -Still no reticle for Immersive MOA scope. -Wish there was ability to change color and size of target in holdover presentation (current color is too hard to see and size is huge) -Wish there was in-app link to BT enable Element hardware -Wish different current wx sources were shown (if not actually selectable) -Wish there were instructions for tune calculator -wish release notes were more verbose and actually meaningful. For example, “added reticle”? What reticle? And, in rel notes for 1.0.2 “internal barometer”? Internal to what? Etc.

Very happy to see active work happening on a good ballistics app that puts equal priority (seemingly), on airgun ballistics! Thank you!

### 4/5 — No fuss, easy to use

*2024-07-21, version 1.6.3*

This is the app I’ve been looking for. Not extra stuff that’ll never be used.

One problem - the preloaded .22 WMR ammunition just loads up the .22LR list again. If you can fix this, it’d be a 5 star👍

### 4/5 — Great, except for one thing

*2024-06-29, version 1.6.3*

Easy to use, and excellent integration/connectivity with the Titan 3K. I would make this my primary ballistics app, but there are only 4 load profiles! Seriously! I really don’t understand the thinking behind this, and I hope this serious oversight gets corrected very soon

### 4/5 — Needs more

*2023-10-03*

Would be awesome if it had all the weights for patriot slugs in .25 and .30 cal
