The support link for this app is down. Support email not responding to emails. Unable to access my crypto right now since the app doesn’t work. ### 1/5 — Slow and non responsive *2025-08-28, version 1.13.0* First started using it a few months ago and seemed to work fine, but now it’s super slow and doesn’t even function properly. Seems like a scam or poorly managed wallet. This is a massive fail for Element and Core. Once my staking period ends I’ll be exploring other options. This is the absolute worst wallet I’ve used. ### 1/5 — No good *2025-07-12, version 1.13.0* This app worked great and one day I couldn’t get it to open, I removed it and downloaded again. Now I can’t access my wallet or anything without my seed code. I can’t find that so now I’ve lost everything ### 1/5 — Can’t sign back in *2025-06-26, version 1.13.0* I saved the 12 words in the dang order it was shown in this is a ridiculous app I have done everything they told me and they aren’t any help at all if I could rate this app lower I would give it a -10 ### 1/5 — Trash *2025-06-09, version 1.13.0* Cannot access my account says my connection isn’t secure. Same connection I’ve been using, now it doesn’t work. Seems like this app is a scam locked me out again!!!! ### 1/5 — Reinstall app if not working *2025-06-02, version 1.13.0* If the app is malfunctioning and not letting you unlock your crypto after staking, reinstall app to make it work. Get your seed phrase first before doing this. This app isn’t worth the hassle and the risk. Coinbase made a bad recommendation by showcasing this app. ### 1/5 — Logs you Out and impossible to get back in *2025-05-12, version 1.13.0* Every time you close the app and reopen it, it makes you enter your account info again. I screenshotted my “seed phrase” and it doesn’t work now. I also saved my password and they’re telling me it’s incorrect. But of course, there is no option to even reset it. If you use this app, MOVE EVERYTHING TO COINBASE- This one feels like a scam. I can only get into my account when the stock is low that day ### 3/5 — Recovered my bitcoin finally!! 😁 *2025-05-09, version 1.13.0* If you had or have problems with your seed phrase not working when you know it's correct try the cloud option. That's what finally worked for me. Before that tho, it did take uninstalling the app every which way possible before it finally came back to me like a new wallet so I could be asked to put in the seed phrase. So if stuck try the cloud option. On the dual staking rewards ...something I didn't realize until much later was you aren't paying for your bitcoin gas fees with core like I thought...so while a tiny bit, it's still exchanging bitcoin with core. Just not sure I'd call that a reward anymore lol. Anyways I'm still staking but now I'm going the full 90 days instead of 10 days at a time to save on bitcoin fees. Also did the yield percentage go down?? Idk. Ok. Sorry it's choppy. Just keeping it short sweet and too the point. I hope they’re held accountable ### 3/5 — Annoying logout acts like you don't have a wallet linked *2025-05-05, version 1.13.0* If you don't open the app every week or so it logs you out. Then to get back in you must reimport your seed phrase and pick a new pin. The pin is absolutely useless bc you can't use it to get back in when you are logged out. You still need to reimport your seed phrase. Face ID login is nice if it worked a few weeks after not visiting the app. Bc it doesn't work when you've been logged out for inactivity or whatever reason it logs you out. Acts like you don't have a wallet linked to the app and you need to enter your seed phrase again. But gives access to 5% staking dividend on btc and core. That's nice. There's a bigger minimum amount of btc needed to stake but core has a smaller and negligible minimum. ### 2/5 — Works but doesn’t work *2025-04-15, version 1.13.0* I’m past my 90 day lock for my BTC staking, and it will not load page up to verify that I want too unstake my BTC. The app does not make it easy (and maybe makes it impossible) to get your funds out after you put them in. This is a complete ponzi scheme ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Works Great, Remember to Save your Seed Phrase ! *2025-04-18, version 1.13.0* I’ve had a smooth experience using Element Wallet so far — claiming rewards and staking works great, and I originally downloaded it from a Coinbase Earn campaign. Only downside is that I’ve been logged out a couple times and had to re-import my wallet using my seed phrase (thankfully I saved it!). I think many of the negative reviews are from users unfamiliar with self-custody wallets. If the team keeps improving the UX and stability, this could be a top-tier app. ### 5/5 — Abdulbasit *2025-04-15, version 1.13.0* Good ### 5/5 — Highly functional only place to stake Bitcoin *2025-03-15* I had an issue when I first got it opening properly. They updated the app. It works fine now don’t listen to the crybabies who think that hot wallets are like exchanges. you do not own your crypto on exchanges they just hold it for you. This is a wallet, If you lose the 12 word pass phrase, you will lose your money. The exchange is like the bank they hold your crypto for you like the bank holds your money. When you put your money in your wallet in your back pocket if it falls out and you lose it, the bank is not going to help you out. But it was a huge pain in the butt. So make sure your version is updated and you might have to delete the app and reinstall but maybe not, try the update first. Contacted the development team and got immediate customer service.
