I played this game many years ago, and loved it. At that time I had disposable income and knew good and well that with it being a Perfect World game, it would be Pay-to-Win. I won’t lie, I spent a great deal of money on this game, as I have in the past on many of their other titles. It got to where, even with all of the money I was spending, I could not keep up with the newer cards being released. But that is the past, and this review should be about the current state of the game, right? Well I just installed it to see what was new... and it crashed. So I tried to relaunch it, and all I get is a “request failed” error message. It doesn’t work. This seems to be Perfect World’s business model. Maybe a game impossible to play without spending a ton of money, knowing full well that all of the players will eventually get tired of spending money, and then when the player base inevitably dies, abandon the game entirely.
