## What is Elements Gallery?

A visual periodic table app covering all 118 elements.

2D PERIODIC TABLE
A grid layout by group and period. Categories like alkali metals, halogens and transition metals are color-coded, so you can see an element's classification at a glance. Pinch to zoom into crowded blocks of elements for a closer look.

ELEMENT DETAILS
Tap an element to see its electron configuration through an intuitive rotating shell animation. Dig deeper with atomic number, mass, melting and boiling points, density, electronegativity, year of discovery, real-world photos with usage examples (sourced and licensed), a list of isotopes, molecular structures of representative compounds (water, carbon dioxide, ozone and more), and electron configuration changes for common ions.

- Added a new quiz mode that asks which element is found in a given molecule (8 molecules including H2SO4 and SiO2). Their structure diagrams are also viewable from element detail screens.
- Quiz question variety is now consistent across all difficulty levels (previously Easy only covered symbol/name questions).
- Quiz attempt history (last 20 rounds) is now recorded and viewable.
- Added a Settings tab consolidating the language switcher, links to other apps, and a quiz-history reset.
- Replaced pinch-to-zoom on the periodic table with more reliable +/- zoom buttons.
