### 2/5 — Great app just annoying to open

*2026-02-16, version 3.2.3*

It’s an amazing app and I have been using it to organize my inventory…but opening the app is extremely inconvenient especially when in a rush. It offers a payment plan for a “deluxe” version of the app every time you open it. Even if it’s a minute in between. I wish there was a “do not show again” option

### 4/5 — Suggestion

*2024-04-17, version 3.0.6*

Good app, a small learning curve but fairly simple to use.
If I can make a suggestion on one of the next app updates. It would be great to have a view in the “browse” to be able to look at each box or QR code separately and see what’s inside that box instead of looking at all the pictures. Or when you tap on a random picture it shows what else is in that box not just that item. Keep the great work!

### 3/5 — It has potential!

*2024-03-14, version 3.0.6*

It’s a great way to stay organized at a very basic and easy level. It’s quick to scan and recognize the QR, and app doesn’t appear to glitch or shut down. But, there are some things that could use improvement. For example being able to modify a previously scanned QR. You are able to change the keywords and title of the box but not add pictures (to show the modifications). You’re limited to 10 pictures per QR code which can be limiting for a large box. The app doesn’t remain logged in so, you have to be consistently logging in and for some reason, iPhone also doesn’t save the login & password chain.

### 4/5 — Almost great!

*2023-12-07, version 3.0.2*

I really like this app for an organized move of my things. Since many of my things will be in storage for a while, it will be nice to have a catalog of what is in each box. However, the only real issue I have with this app is that it does not update across devices. I had some friends helping me pack, and I used my iPhone to catalog boxes and a friend used my iPad to catalog more boxes, and it turns out that everything is device specific. If the pictures were taken and assigned to a QR code on the iPad, I can only view it on the iPad, and vice versa for the iPhone.

Please update the app so that the pictures and QR codes can be viewed on any device logged into my account!

### 4/5 — Works as intended

*2023-11-04, version 2.1.15*

I have finally tried using the tracking system, and so far it is intuitive and easy to use. I just put my stuff in one box, take a picture, label it, and tucked it away. The only additional function that I wished it had was the ability to invite family members (aka wife) to look at my inventory to see where things are instead of asking me all the time. That’s all for now, and I will update as I continue to use the product.

### 2/5 — Good If It Works

*2023-09-27, version 2.1.15*

I packed a few boxes as part of household organization project. Everything worked fine. I left it for a few weeks and now the app doesn’t work at all. I take the photos, add the keywords, scan QR code and get a message saying that the items were successfully assigned to a box. Then, when I go to move to the next set of items, I am shown the items that I just saved and asked if I want to scan the QR code. This leads to an endless loop of scanning the QR code, getting the “success”message, and then being asked if I want to scan the QR code. If I click on “cancel” when asked if I want to scan, the items go into the Unassigned tab. No response from customer service to my request for assistance. The concept is great, but this app doesn’t work.

### 2/5 — Great concept but horribly flawed.

*2023-07-22, version 2.1.15*

Seemed to work great initially but now it takes FOREVER to get logged in and now when I log in it says I have no labels stored. I spent a lot of time organizing and storing info and now it appears to all be gone.

### 2/5 — Wish I read the reviews before purchasing….

*2023-06-10, version 2.1.15*

The app is glitchy and hard to use. Have to redo the of taking pictures, assigning QR codes and keywords get blown away whenever you have to redo the process. Was excited when I purchased it think I’ll go back to paper labels.

### 2/5 — Privacy info not available

*2023-05-23, version 2.1.15*

The link to privacy info that is there when you are agreeing to terms and conditions leads to a Not Found webpage. Since they can’t even manage to keep their privacy info up-to-date, I don’t trust them with my data so I deleted the app and will be returning the stickers.

### 1/5 — Still logging me out

*2023-04-12, version 2.1.15*

The app is still having lots of issues. Keeps logging me out. When I scan a QR Code to see what is in my box, it won’t pull up the list. I have to force close the app and then it makes me log back in again. Also, why does it have to take over my audio? I’m listening to music as I pack and every time I take a photo or anything of the sort it stops my music and I have to go back and start my music. It’s annoying.

### 1/5 — Don’t Buy!!!

*2023-03-11, version 2.1.15*

The camera function barely works and I have to take 500 hundred pics just to see what’s on one box.

If possible I have all equipment and I would like a return.

### 1/5 — Very limited

*2023-02-27, version 2.1.15*

Doesn’t have great functionality. Pretty buggy. More effort than it’s worth. Doesn’t beat the sharpie yet.

### 1/5 — Not intuitive

*2023-02-26, version 2.1.15*

This could be a great app and a great system, but there are limitations that make it time-consuming and inefficient. For example, the repetitive scanning and “assigning“ of QR codes. There is a pop-up that says that the QR code is assigned, and then once you back out of the menus, it prompts you to scan it again and again.
Additionally, I believe there is a tone assigned when you scan. I’m listening to a podcast and each time I try to scan a QR code, the podcast stops. This is unnecessary and irritating.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Unable to add a secondary user

*2026-01-17, version 3.2.2*

Im very disappointed that i was billed 24 dlls and im getting a message of “internal error” when I try to send the invitation to my son. It speaks volumes when im running into glitches 1 min after downloading the app.

### 1/5 — Privacy?

*2025-07-19, version 3.1.1*

Refers back to google about security. Data sharing seems limited but I am not sure

### 1/5 — Look Elsewhere. This ain’t it.

*2024-12-24, version 3.1.1*

I saw someone demo this on tictok and gave it a try. Spent money on a stack of labels and went to work on the 12 storage bins in my garage. When I was done, I thought now if in six months I need to look for something, just scan the bar code. Opened the app and weirdly it asked for a log in. I logged and nothing was there. Nothing recorded. I was beyond cheesed off. Of course, contacting these people was useless. Don’t bother with this one. I lost so much time I’ll never get back.

### 1/5 — Fabulous concept, functionally useless

*2024-12-16, version 3.1.1*

I regret buying labels and downloading the app. There’s an option in the app to upload images from my cellphone camera roll, but it doesn’t work. Every time I try I get an error message. If I take the photos from within the app, they don’t save to my camera roll—they only exist on the Elephant Trax service, which is very worrying from a privacy and sustainability perspective.

### 1/5 — Huge lack of customer service

*2024-05-26, version 3.0.6*

This is a great idea and could potentially be something really useful. Initially, I raved about Elephant Trax. However, after a recent app update, I lost everything in my app and can no longer browse the contents of boxes. When I scan stickers, I receive an error message. I’ve contacted customer service twice, once with no response and one asking me to confirm my email, which I did. No further response. Thanks to the lack of customer service, I’ve had to replace items that I needed right away due to not being able to stay in the attic long enough to go through every single box needed to find what I’m looking for. Completely defeats the purpose of the stickers. Will no longer recommend and now regretting I used them so much.

### 1/5 — Time out is a real pain

*2024-03-04, version 3.0.6*

Works fine except that the app times and and wants you to login. Problem is that iPhone is not remembering the account and password so you have to remember on your own. Why?!!! Every other iPhone app remembers for you

### 1/5 — DO NOT USE

*2023-12-10, version 3.0.4*

Labeled all of my boxes and put them in storage. Created an account and signed in like it asked to do and 3 months later it says there is no record of me signing up for it. It won’t let me log in to scan my boxes. Now I have to go through everything and find out what each box contains. Would highly recommend going with something else. DO NOT USE!!!!

### 1/5 — Poor Workflow

*2023-09-30*

Great idea for an app…extremely poor workflow execution. After you photograph a bin, add keywords and scan the QR, the app doesn’t return to the home page. Instead it just sits there waiting for you to “x” out the current mode to go back. Then you have to rescan the qr…sometimes it works….sometimes it doesn’t. Quicker to use a notepaper.

### 1/5 — Bug bug

*2023-07-04, version 2.1.15*

Terrible interface and bugs.
Due to some bugs, you might loose your key words attached to photos, which is annoying and wasteful in time.

### 1/5 — Better to use a notebook and your own labels, but not a scam

*2023-05-20, version 2.1.15*

Update: the app is worse than originally experienced after using it. The photos refuse to be saved to a QR code on the sticker almost every single time. The app is impossible to use. I moved from a 2 star down to a 1 star.

It’s not intuitive, even for someone who grew up with and uses technology everyday. The tutorial doesn’t help beyond the first few steps, it took me multiple tries to attach a QR code to items in a box, and the layout is counter intuitive. You have to log in every time you open the app after closing it, it’s VERY annoying. If you’re listening to anything (music, podcast, etc) the app forces it to stop just to take a photo. It does what it says it can, just in the worst way possible. It’s like they took a great idea and put in less than a quarter the effort to make it decently usable.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Love the New Box Fields

*2026-05-07, version 3.2.5*

Great update. Custom fields make the app much more flexible for storage and moving projects. I would also like to see a way to duplicate box details or copy custom fields from one box to another.

### 5/5 — Useful App, But Needs Offline Support

*2026-05-01, version 3.2.4*

ElephantTrax is a useful app for organizing storage boxes and keeping track of items with QR codes. It makes it easier to manage home inventory, storage bins, garage items, and moving boxes without opening every box again and again. The app works well overall, but one improvement I would like to see is better offline support. Sometimes storage areas, garages, basements, or storage units may not have a strong internet connection, so offline access would make the app even more helpful. Overall, it is a good app with strong potential, and I would give it a 4+ rating.

### 5/5 — Great App with Room for More Features

*2026-04-27, version 3.2.4*

Overall, it is a good app, but I think it can become even better with more advanced features, such as adding comments or notes to items and AI analysis to help identify, organize, and suggest improvements for stored inventory. With these improvements, the app would be even more powerful and helpful for users.

### 5/5 — Helpful App for Home Organization

*2026-04-24, version 3.2.4*

ElephantTrax is a really useful app for organizing storage boxes and keeping track of items using QR codes. The app is easy to use and works well for home inventory and decluttering. I think it would be even better with a few more features, especially the ability to transfer ownership of boxes or inventory to another person. This would be very helpful for decluttering, moving, or working with professional organizers. Overall, it’s a good app with strong potential, and I’m happy to give it a positive rating.

### 5/5 — Great storage tracker

*2026-04-23, version 3.2.4*

Perfect storage tracker for organizing boxes in my garage and closets. I always know what I have and where it is. Very useful app.

### 5/5 — Moving & knowing where items are.

*2024-08-11, version 3.0.8*

Very nice app. If any improvement, it would be in the search section. I’d suggest allowing wild card searches.

### 5/5 — Best organization app out there!!!

*2023-12-09, version 3.0.4*

I saw this reviewed on tik tok and this app is a the answer to my organization dreams! Super easy to use and works with their Elephant Trax labels that you can buy on Amazon. You can even start taking pictures of your stuff before you get you labels in hand. Also, not necessarily app related, but the labels are excellent quality... they have even held up to our kids getting them wet. Do yourself a favor and download this app and order your labels!

### 5/5 — Love the new update!

*2021-10-31, version 2.1.1*

I can now take all my pictures on my phone and the load them on the app without having to go back and forth and the app closing on me. Yay!!! Thank you!

### 5/5 — Great App!!

*2021-09-04, version 2.1.0*

I rave about how much this app has made a difference in our deep freeze inventory every time I use it. It’s so simple and easy but it really is better than anything else we’d tried. We add to and use items from our basement freezer regularly so a notebook of what was in the freezer never worked. This app is perfect for my husband and I to both see what we have when meal planning or shopping for the week.

I haven’t started another “box” yet, but when doing the inventory of the freezer the app did crash a few times and I lost my photos. I think there’s been an update since then but not sure. That inconvenience has not deterred me from continuing to use it.

Next project is to go through and inventory bins in the basement!! I honestly can’t wait 😝.

### 5/5 — Best Option For Organized Storage

*2021-01-29*

Best solution to help organize your storage. Easy to use app and stickers fit perfectly on each box. You can reprogram the stickers if you want to change what is inside as well
