The whole point of using an app is the ease of use. Somehow this escaped the designer of this update!! It’s NOT ROCKET SCIENCE!! The app got better and it's okay to use, but MUCH MORE CONVOLUTED than before. To transfer money to any outside account, you have to authorize Plaid. They do NOT give you the option to add the account even via Plaid through a 2-deposit method. Look at their privacy policy on Plaid. They track every purchase/transaction on every connected account IN PERPETUITY. This also means if your CU or Bank doesn't use Plaid, you cannot add them. This is on the verge of a deal-breaker for me. You could turn on the feature in Plaid, but you won't. ElGa, you are doing a disservice to years-loyal customers and supporting a surveillance state where all my transactions are sold to the highest bidder. This new design is so poor it genuinely has made me start to switch over to SoFi just to have a more information rich experience. It takes so many clicks to get anything done.
