Elite Law ID Check app lets you confirm your identity online. 

The app is safe and secure. Your personal information will not be stored in the app or on the phone when you finish using it.

If you have been invited by your lawyer to download and use this app, you may not have to attend an appointment with your lawyer to confirm and prove your identity.

Not only does our NFC technology make mobile verification flows more convenient, but our NFC verification process is also a much more secure method of data validation and it's fully compliant with HM Land Registry standards.

AML Checks through Open Banking platform

If requested by your lawyer, Verify 365 will verify your source of funds securely and easily through our FCA-regulated Open Banking technology. Our Account Information Service extracts individual or company transactions and balance data from multiple accounts, using bank-side authentication and consent processes. 

Accurate and Complete Bank Account Transaction Data

A thorough anti-money laundering source of funds check is critical to cover AML-requirements and reduce money laundering fraud risks. 

Providing paper statements to your lawyer can lead to long turnaround times. With Verify 365, your bank account transaction data is guaranteed to be authentic and complete and it's instantly available to your lawyer, analysed and verified without the need to provide additional bank statements.

BEFORE YOU START YOUR VERIFICATION 

You will need a biometric ID document, so a passport, drivers licence, ID card or residence permit, and be in a well-lit area, so you can take a good quality photograph of yourself. 

How Elite Law works? 

You will need to: 
1. Get an invite by text message from your lawyer 
2. Download the Elite Law
3. Log in using your phone number and OTP code
4. Take an image of your document
5. Read the chip in your document using your phone
6. Scan your face using your phone
7. Take a photograph of yourself for your digital status
8. Provide your address and upload supporting documents, if required 
9. Provide access to your bank statements through secure Open Banking API platform 
10. Complete a Source of Funds questionnaire

Tricky to use - photographs as soon as it “sees” something rather than when ready. Not intuitive and feels clunky and old fashioned. I recommend that Elite Law swift to a modern widely used app rather than this which feels unprofessional and homemade

Why do you expect people of a certain age to have the type of telephone that you need to run this App - let alone be able to follow the necessary pathway. All digital but wants information from two paper documents !!

First time a "continue" button failed to appear so couldn't proceed, had to start all over. Second time got to the bill uploading page which doesn't seem to understand annual bills like council tax and water  have one annual date and so cannot be within the last 3 months of today's date if their annual date is not within the last 3 months of today's date. The date of an annual bill is what it is. App has a problem with billing reality. Frustrating when developers make their failure to understand reality your problem isn't it?

It crashed several times whilst trying to enter the password but i persevered and after 4 attempts it worked. The app seems to ‘shake’ a bit? But when it’s working it is a very clever piece of technology.
