Be warned. ### 1/5 — Language *2021-03-02* Unable to change language to English. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — VGW-mini vacuum gauge app *2026-08-10, version 6.5.6* Using the app with this instrument to test the performance of a vacuum pump etc. The instrument itself is high quality the apple app is unfinished, all data is generated and graph can be seen in app but the data is recorded to a locked sandbox on an iPhone 16 pro max. The file is not shared within the iOS. This is basic coding mistake. So far I have not been able to access the .csv file. A user shouldn’t need to be an expert in computing! The description of the features of the app is misleading and a trade description infringement. Please fix the app asap. ### 1/5 — Very poor app *2025-07-04, version 6.3.5* Don’t buy their tools. Paid for the alarm and recording features. Tapping on recording interval, view historical data or clear historical data just crash the app. ‘Log on’ starts recording ( so it says) and log off stops it and says ‘saved successfully’ but doesn’t seem to save anything. So basically useless and can’t be used off line. App needs a lot of work to be stable and useable. Two gauges show up on the screen. Left one is blank, right one reads the pressure upon opening. Tried to set the HP alarm. Save, back to main screen, and the alarm is going off even though I set it well above the current pressure. HP side says OL. Then the app crashes. Totally useless waste of money. Works fine on my iPhone. ### 3/5 — Update Needed *2025-09-26, version 6.4.2* App needs to be updated. Ive been using Elitech products for years. I just received their wireless temperature clamps and the app does not allow you to use them for a few things. You should be able to use them with your refrigerant probes to get super heat and sub cooling, but the app does not allow this function. You should also be able to use these probes to do temperature differential functions so you can be able to use it to measure the temperature leaving and entering boilers!!! I love Elitech products but they need to update the app to make their products more efficient and usable. ### 3/5 — Elitech Gauge is better *2023-03-16, version 2.1.6* Could you please add capability to display battery status for PGW-800 in the Tools app? Also the Tools app often gets stuck in a fast loop when reading data from PGW-800, and makes lots of files until manually terminating the app. It leaves 100+ partial data files and the only convenient way to remove them is to delete the app then reinstall. We like your Gauge app much more than Tools, please keep Gauge available! Thanks! ### 3/5 — Wont connect *2023-02-09, version 2.1.5* EMG-40V won’t connect to app on fone.
