Some apps are so familiar they’re easily taken for granted.  As a regular visitor to Asia, being aware of multiple currencies and their movements not only provides the obvious conversion rates but also sudden swings can be a first indicator of events worth noting.  Elk is so good it’s easy to take for granted.

Could use a refresh /update, however it works well on the phone and watch. Btw…. What gives with the Elk? It’s always so hard to remember the name and find the app when needed. Still 5 stars!

После перехода на формат: 1,0К, 1,1К, 1,2К… Что само по себе менее информативно… Стало работать как попало. Вместо 1100, 1200,  1300 (как было)… Стало: 1К, 1К, 1К, 1К, 2К, 2К, 2К… в одном столбике.  Как хочешь - так и понимай это «творчество». Это есть в JPY, TRY, AED, наверное и в других валютах тоже. И никто уже более месяца это не исправляет.

Useless in a place like Colombia where the exchange rate is 4,000 1. The most you can see is what $5 USD is.

Do not believe all the “rave” reviews and after my experience with the app and the support (none existing), I question the legitimacy of the so called “awards.” The UI was poorly designed, the UX was also lacking. Features are almost none other than pick your currency and go with it. The 14 days free trial was just a click-bait to get you into paying them now but charge later scam. Some reviewers mentioned this might even be a subscription based service!!!!! What’s more frustrating, was the support which is none. I sent them an email requesting clarification on the purchase (I don’t want subscribe to a currency converter), there was zero responses. I’m concerned they may even forwarded my email address to spammers. All in all, poor product, poor support, and questionable recognitions.

旅行中の通貨換算に最適。課金しないと使えない通貨も、旅行中に位置情報をオンにしとけば現地通貨は換算が可能になる。

細かい端数や値段交渉はiPhone標準の電卓で換算機能を使えば良い。ザッと計算するならElkのが操作が速い。

Это приложение столько раз выручало! Дико удобно что ты просто открываешь и смотришь, не надо вводить сумму- либо клик,либо свайп и находишь нужное число. Курс в режиме реального времени. Очень простой и удобный интерфейс!

Most conversion apps require you to tap keys on the iPhone or even worse enter them on the Apple Watch… but this app allows you to quickly estimate the cost of something in a foreign currency using swipes or simple taps.  iPhone/iPad/Mac (Apple silicon) widgets are awesome!
