### 1/5 — App need to be fixed

*2021-10-28, version 1.1*

Worked ok for a few days, now the only way to connect to the lighting Bluetooth module is to delete and reinstall the app every time you want to use it, please provide a reliable app update to an otherwise good product.

### 1/5 — Extremely Disappointing and unacceptable.

*2021-10-03, version 1.1*

This App simply does not work. In 4 days it has connected to WiFi once only for a few hours and then dropped out. I have tried to reconnect to WiFi at least 20 times over the last 24 hours and failed. Useless and unacceptable.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Poor range

*2025-12-18, version 1.70*

Have to be within one metre for the Bluetooth to work. Useless.

### 1/5 — Auto function dysfunctional

*2025-06-02, version 1.70*

Not only is it painful to set up timing, but the auto time control function seems to reside in the app and not in the unit so one has to have the app connected for the timed on-off to work. Get out of blue tooth range and the auto timers (that you’ll have spent 10 plus minutes setting up) fails.

### 1/5 — After thought only

*2025-02-09, version 1.70*

No effort has been put into this app. Doesn’t recognise 2 of the 3 set ups I have .. clunky and virtually featureless , which is a shame because the lights are good.

### 1/5 — Functionality useless

*2025-01-25, version 1.70*

2 options- lights on all night until morning or a timer system that deletes all the start and stop times x7- 14 settings. Did this 3 times before I just gave up. The app is a time waster. Best to just connect to a smart plug that is consistent. This Bluetooth sometimes requires 4-5 attempts even when you are standing 3 metres from the plug. I see the reviews have been low for many years yet Bunnings keeps selling this with advertised blue tooth functionality. Fix the app if you keep seeking this.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2023-10-11, version 1.1*

Won’t work on iPhone 13

### 1/5 — Can’t select correct lights

*2023-06-10, version 1.1*

Set up a second set of lights. No matter why I do I can’t swap back to the original lights to control them. 2y since last update of the app is a real worry.

### 1/5 — Fix Bluetooth Connectivity

*2022-11-05, version 1.1*

Disappointed…As described previously, Bluetooth functionality does not connect for any meaningful periods of time.
Surely a product this price can rectify this??

### 1/5 — Just doesn’t work

*2022-08-08, version 1.1*

Never connected. Tried everything. Doesn’t work.

### 1/5 — Very doggie Bluetooth

*2022-02-26, version 1.1*

Very hard to connect with Bluetooth, some time unable to connect via Bluetooth and requires turn on and off via electricity switch.

### 1/5 — Unreliable bluetooth- lights are fine

*2022-01-22, version 1.1*

The bluetooth connection is very, very unreliable. Keeps dropping out and not connecting. It should be simple and stable- it’s not.
Having said that, all the BT does is act as a on/off and timer. Revert back to an actual add-on timer, don’t use the BT module, and it’s fine- the lights themselves are easy to install and connect.
Just a shame it’s let down by the BT app.

## Most praised reviews (6 highest-rated)

### 3/5 — Extra function

*2025-04-14, version 1.70*

Is it possible to add a function using the light sensor to switch on and the a set time before switching off. So lights up when it gets dark and runs for 4 hours. Also, replicate settings for the whole week rather than set each day

### 3/5 — Connectivity needs to improve

*2023-01-16, version 1.1*

Hit and miss whether it’s going to work first time. Often needs multiple attempts to connect. Would be great if could be used with Apple Watch

### 3/5 — Photocell to turn on and timer to turn off

*2022-01-28, version 1.1*

Please make it so the photocell can be used to turn on the lights and then timer can be used to turn them off eg at 10pm.

### 2/5 — C’mon… Photocell on, timer off!? Easy.

*2025-04-09, version 1.70*

Devs... If you’re reading this PLEASE, it’s a simple adjustment.
Give us the option to turn on lights with the PE Cell and off with timer, and vice versa.

### 2/5 — Basic functions missing

*2024-05-09, version 1.37*

How hard would it be to
a) have an option to turn on when it gets dark, and turn off at a certain time
b) set the on/off time for the whole week instead if each day individually
Close, but no cigar

### 2/5 — Bluetooth flakey

*2021-11-19, version 1.1*

Connection via Bluetooth is random and only when very close to device. Device changes settings occasionally. No support.
