When signing up, it asks you to put in your phone number and says it will text you a 6 digit code. You NEVER receive the code !! 😡 And when you start over and try again, it gives you an error message that says “something went wrong” !! I’m no longer interested in banking with this company !! If it’s doing this from the very beginning, what other problems am I gonna have a month or two down the road ?? Maybe….. just MAYBE, I might try again, in a year !! Thank you. ### 1/5 — DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS!!! *2024-06-21, version 2.24060.0* This is a joke! I’ve had the worst banking experience of my life with this company! When I should’ve received my deposit, all of the sudden I couldn’t access my account! I called them and the guy said I would be getting a call back either later that day or the next day. A week went by and I called again. I still couldn’t access my money and no one could advise me anything on my acct. That guy told me the same thing as the first guy, except that one told me it wouldn’t be that day or the next most likely to get a call back about my acct. He said the just be patient a little while and someone would call me to help resolve it. I waited weeks on access to a fairly decent amount of money golf mine that I never got! Nor did I ever even get a return call. All they had to do was tell me that my deposit had been returned to the company that made the deposit. I finally found out weeks later when the company that made the deposit called and told me it had been sent back. All Elroy had to do was tell me that much and it would’ve made everything totally different. And I could’ve accessed my money a lot sooner and easier. But like I said, no one would even give me that much info. And to not even call the customer back from lot one but two calls made to them is absolutely horrible business etiquette! No respect for the customer whatsoever! I wouldn’t waste my time or money messing with these folks. And if you ever need an answer about something financial with your account, good luck getting someone to acknowledge you and answering you in any reasonable amount of time or at all even. It’s like they don’t care about the people who are helping build and shape their entire business. They are an unethical company. After using their app and complying with the new user deposit terms, they decided NOT to honor the terms to pay out the bonus. After asking them to close my account and cut me a check for my balance, they said they don’t cut checks under a certain amount and that the funds would be kept by them…how is this legal?!? I linked my payroll very quickly, integrating credit cards and other accounts was a breeze through Plaid. Now I got a better control seeing all my money in the same place. Great interest rate on my savings!! Customer service is faster and more efficient than banks, for real! ### 5/5 — Opened account in 2 minutes and got my Debit Card *2022-07-26, version 1.22071.1* Was searching for a replacement for my existing bank that was charging me fees, signing up was easy and I was able to have access to my account without having to visit a branch or talk to anyone. I linked my old bank account and my money was here by the end of the day. They offer an instant direct deposit switch which I setup without forms or a voided check and I’m going wait for my early direct deposit. Now I never have to visit a bank again. ### 4/5 — Good app. Poor service. *2023-12-08, version 2.23112.0* The app itself is great, easy to use, easy to track money and spending. It’s easy to set up and quick. However when it comes to the service so of things. Don’t rely on that to be good. It is hard to get through on the phone. I noticed an unusual transaction on my account so I messaged them and without any prior warning my account was locked and I was unable to use my card until they unlocked it which I was pretty disappointed with considering I am able to lock my card at will. I didn’t like how they just locked my account knowing I have bills coming out monthly. They were unable to tell me when it was going to be unlocked again. Each time I told them to unlock it as I could just lock my card on my own they constantly told me they would send it to a ‘higher team’ which is a poor excuse considering how quickly they managed to lock my entire account.
