I used to use this app a lot but it no longer receives fresh content updates which means all of the memes and clips you can choose from are kind of outdated. ### 2/5 — Fun but buggy *2023-05-26, version 1.24* This app would be a 10 star if it wasn’t so buggy and hard to save the videos ### 2/5 — Shows promise *2023-03-21, version 1.24* Was great start up tool. Used it frequently to great laughs from friends and family. However, times have changed and with that, the app should as well. Same recycled Videos that haven’t changed in a year or more. Now I can’t even save a video with the app crashing and having to start all over. The tools are helpful and easy to understand. Although there is a small issue with finding certain templates, that’s not what I’m looking to address. For the experienced however, there’s a serious flaw that you’ve heard time and time again. We can’t edit our own videos, which is a big problem. One day, someone new to editing is going to want to take it a step further and edit their own clip with this helpful app, however we are bound to the default templates. Most of us are well aware that you accept “video links” that may or may not be approved of but it would be way less stressful if you just allowed us creators to use our own. As I see it, this is probably the main barrier that is stopping this apps growth. Please fix this. If you can’t fix it, find a better solution other than submitting video links ### 3/5 — Used to be 5 star *2020-02-03, version 1.24* The watermark in the video is intrusive and a complete turn off when it comes to using the app now. Having a watermark in the video instead of the old “by you made elsewhere” at the end of the video was a terrible decision. ### 4/5 — It just needs one thing *2020-01-24, version 1.24* It’s a really good app, but I wish that there was an option to use your own video. There’s a ton of good templates, but I have a great idea for a meme that I can’t make because it’s not on there. And while I know that there is an option to submit an idea, I don’t have it saved as a link. If there would be an option to do this, that would be appreciated. ### 4/5 — Great but a quick improvement *2020-01-17, version 1.24* Two things to improve this app tremendously: make the little “heart” button to favorite videos fill up instead of glowing a little bit so I know it’s actually been selected And change the names of each clip to match the clip better because it’s kinda difficult to tell what it is with the current titles they’ve been given. I don’t wanna use the garbage meme formats that they give me to use. When you search for something, most of the videos won’t even be related to what your trying to find. For example: if you search for Minecraft videos, you may get a few but most of the results will just have the gaming tag and not be related to Minecraft in any way. Anyways, I wanted to make a meme out of a scene from the new Sonic trailer, but I couldn’t find even one clip from it. I’m not gonna use this app if finding the correct video is gonna take forever. ### 1/5 — app doesn’t even open *2019-10-16, version 1.22* I literally can not even open the app directly after downloading it, and I’ve done every fix I possibly can. And yes, I have deleted and tried to re-download. I’m on an iPhone XS Max, so it’s not like I’m on outdated hardware, and I’m using the newest OS version.
