## What is Elseword?

Elseword is a personal language companion for the conversations you actually want to have.

Talk about your day, your work, your plans or anything else that matters to you. Elseword replies in the language you are learning and can help in the language you already know.

YOUR LANGUAGES, YOUR DIRECTION

Practise English, French or Spanish in any direction. A French speaker learning English receives English conversation with French help. An English speaker learning Spanish receives Spanish conversation with English help. English is never assumed to be everyone's starting language.

JUST TALK

There are no streaks to protect and no points to chase. Ask Elseword to speak more slowly, explain something, correct you after you finish, or simply continue the conversation without teaching.

WORDS FROM YOUR REAL LIFE

When you need an expression, save it with its meaning and situation. Elseword brings it back later so you can use it again with less help.

PROGRESS YOU CAN BELIEVE

Saving a phrase is not the same as knowing it. Elseword distinguishes between using language with help, using it again and using it independently in a new moment.

MEMORY YOU CONTROL

Elseword only keeps personal details you choose to remember. You can inspect them, remove them, export your data or delete everything from the app.

Live voice conversation requires microphone access and an internet connection. The first release supports English, French and Spanish.
