There is one flaw though whenever I take the tray out the magnet comes out. I have lost 2 magnets and have had to replace them with the ones for the litter door. I did try to contact els but I haven’t been successful. However, it does not AUTOMATICALLY notify me when my hopper is low on litter or worse when the waste canister is full. I must physically open and view app to obtain this information. However, it does notify without fail when the cat has used the unit and when the unit cleans itself. Adding the other notifications would be a game changer. When we moved to our new home I figured I’d have a hard time setting it up. But it popped right on. Now I’ve taken it apart and cleaned it with soap and water as I have done in the past and I can’t get it to reset. It keeps saying the potty bin is full and needs to be emptied. Not so. I just cleaned it. I kept fiddling with it, unplugging etc. , now it says it’s off line( and the potty bin is full). There is not a button on the cat box. 2nd, the litter gets stuck to the bottom of the cat box and you have to scrape occasionally. Clumps of litter get stuck in the middle and won’t completely run until you remove the object or shake the waste bin. 3rd, litter gets everywhere on the floor. It saves me time in the morning and throughout my busy day. I only have to remove the waste bag weekly and give it a thorough cleaning every 2 months. It also saves litter as compared to litter boxes. Now for the app, there's only 1 1/4 pages of "information" in the manual. The text in the illustrations is so small it can't be read & my vision is now 20/20. Only 1 cat can be added in pet center. For the price of this box I should be able to add multiple cats & their weights for the app to track. Just would not activate. The company sent me a video and recommended I take the Litter Box apart. It came fully assembled except for the step which wouldn’t connect. Returned that one!! Not what the company wanted but I wasn’t taking an item apart that I wasn’t familiar with and came assembled. Elspet #2 arrived the step clicked in place I put in the red tabs as before and prepared the little catcher. It has worked like a charm for 2 yrs now The rake and electric eye need to be cleaned occasionally. App is good so far ### 5/5 — ELSPET *2024-11-07, version 1.0.6* So awesome ### 5/5 — Great product *2024-11-02, version 1.0.6* Their product works great and I have been using this product for a year now with out much problems ### 5/5 — 10/10 best purchase for my cat *2024-10-19, version 1.0.6* Wether you are disabled and struggle to clean a litter box out, or you simply don’t want to deal with arguably the worst part of having a cat, automatic litter boxes are great, but everyone’s seen the one that has sadly acted like a guillotine and expired their loved ones, but this one has so many great factors. The motor is strong enough to scoop clumps up but if a clump has stuck to the bottom of the tray the scoop will instantly stop (could have been a cat or kitten) it stops on meeting resistance, beeps and returns to the starting position until you manually dislodge the clump. This really gave me peace of mind, the cat can still use the litter tray when that’s happened too. Also my cat decided to pull the door down when he was in it, the light went red and a loud beep, I rushed to him in a panic, got him out, hit the manual button and it reset the litter box. 10/10 I have FULL confidence in my cats safety in this product. As for smell, it really does eliminate smells, I end up emptying the reservoir at the back like once a week, which a regular litter tray would smell after a day or two if untouched. This is AMAZING. Definitely worth the price. Upon unboxing, the box was a little battered, but well packaged so the pod itself was in excellent condition, setup was delayed because the step was dislodged and that disabled the whole response from the pod until corrected (little notches on each side of the step needed to be clicked in properly) which wasn’t explained but after we figured that out it was smooth setup. I was worried my cat wouldn’t adapt to it but he jumped in before I even finished putting litter in!
