Thank you LH ### 1/5 — Great idea, it just doesn’t work *2023-04-05* Honestly, I’m not sure how an app like this even makes it to the App Store… it literally *doesn’t work.* Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great idea. But if you can’t even be trusted to hire the right developers to make your app work, how can I, as a consumer, be expected to trust the booking process? Get it together. Also—reply to your consumers!! Seriously, where are the professionals?!? It’s exactly what I’m looking for and need to plan a budget friendly trip with my family but it just doesn’t work. The idea of an app I can plug in dates + budget and receive a list of all bookable trips would be a dream. Unfortunately this is not that app. Searching for 5 day trips out of nyc with a $3k+ budget should pump out at least SOME options. Continued to get no trips available. Huge disappointment. ### 1/5 — Worst travel app ever *2022-09-29, version 2.3.0* Like some it won’t show any results unless you move the budget higher. Example I had it set for 2k it showed nothing I moved it to 5k it showed a few that started at 1K. Also it is very limited I can find better deals using a Google search for a little more time. Very very poor app ### 2/5 — What if I want to drive? *2022-09-04, version 2.3.0* In my limited experience with the app, I desperately wanted to try the Elude Package function for lodging only, but you’re forced to include a flight in the mix. I also tried finding a 3-night package from AVL at $1k, $2k, $3k, and $5k; but I failed to get any results until I used $7k. And then the results included packages starting between $1800-$4800! Why didn’t those results show up the first time around? I’m uninstalling the app until it seems worth using—although given the year-old feedback matching mine, I don’t have high hopes. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2024-05-22* I tried to use the Book by Budget feature. The Leave From screen endlessly loads so you can’t actually use it. I tried it on and off WiFi and made sure my location services were enabled. As I work in technology, I tried to report this bug to them directly instead of witting a poor review but their website’s contact form doesn’t work either! “Form failed to send. Try again later.” It’s a good idea but doesn’t work. ### 1/5 — Disappointment *2024-03-24* Got very excite to use this app, but it unusable. You can’t input your location and it won’t locate you to book any trips. Terrible. ### 1/5 — Basic Functionality Not There *2024-03-17* Great idea, but this all doesn’t work. It will not populate “leaving from” for me, even with wifi, tries in different locations, etc. seems so silly. ### 1/5 — It doesn’t work *2024-02-29* As others have said, it won’t load an origin city so is completely non-functional. ### 1/5 — App does not work or allow child travelers *2024-02-08* I downloaded excited to be able to looks at vacations based on budget. Was immediately let down when it would not populate my “traveling from” location and in addition when I tried to add the travelers it would only let me add an adult number, there is no option for traveling with children. Deleted after less than 5 mins of download. It immediately got hung up trying to auto-generate my location, which I had given the app permission to do, so I couldn’t search for anything. I decided to try and create an account in case that was the issue, but when I signed up it just got hung up forever on “please wait”. Deleting. When someone wants to travel anywhere anytime on a set budget, you only need to ask these questions 1. The $ I want to pay 2. Fly out from where 3. In what class (economy, plus, business, etc.) 4. Number of travelers 5. How many weeks or months (optional) 6. Continent of interest (optional) And that’s it. Then you suggest where to go and when to leave that will keep us in that budget. Otherwise, if you are asking when I want to leave and return, etc., there are already many apps out there I can use. Google flight is the closest thing to show fares costs months ahead. But I still have to have the destinations. Here are a few scenarios that I wish there’s an app exists to help me… if I want to fly to Thailand for $4500 budget on a business class flight for 7-8 weeks, when is the date to leave and come back? Another time I just want to go anywhere within $200 budget. Where can I go and when to leave and return? And if this is too broad, then maybe you’ll have me add more criteria, e.g., I want to be gone for 3 days, etc. This app should consider filling the gap for self-employed/ entrepreneurs who need a break, know how much they want to spend, and roughly for how long. It’s not for those who need to travel on XYZ date, which there are many apps already that cover those criteria. ### 5/5 — Surprisingly refreshing *2022-11-29, version 2.5.1* A new way to find cool destinations based on a budget. They also do a great job of listing out important hotel details which was super helpful in my decision making.
