I can't play this game and I've definitely invested money into it. I have no clue how to resolve the issue and customer support basically told me there was nothing they could do. ### 4/5 — Nice graphics but.... *2020-09-13, version 2.10.3* So far I like the game, but I am having an issue accessing Coco’s Challenge for the first boss. It goes through the loading screen and the bar fills and then nothing, just sits. I’m not having loading issues anywhere else. ### 2/5 — Bit overwhelming *2020-08-09, version 2.10.3* I started playing Elune when it first released and I was AMAZED but over time i stopped playing. I come back to the game and all of a sudden my account doesn’t exist and apparently i’ve never played before. I’d like my account back but besides that when I got back to the game, there were so many new features and I barely understand what they do. I’m going to need a more in-depth tutorial of all of this or something. ### 3/5 — Seems okay. *2020-07-02, version 2.10.0* Still getting used to gameplay, pretty sure I have like 6 of the best legendary units in the first 24 hrs of playing this game... so this could either be good or way to easy. Some of the awakening and evolution stuff seems complicated, and they don’t really talk about it in tutorial... I doubt this will make me quit summoners war lol ### 4/5 — Pretty good, small complaints *2020-07-02, version 2.10.0* I started playing Elune about a year ago, and they’ve added a lot of things since then, which is great, but it can easily get overwhelming. I just started back and, not only could I not remember what I had done before, there was so many new things that wasn’t intuitive or explained (or I missed the explanation), the example that sticks out to me is the awakening system, which I still have no idea how to do that at all (I’m writing this review while downloading an update that adds more awakenings for Elunes, maybe this update will add some explanation simple enough for me to understand). That being said, this game is an interesting take on the “Gatcha Game” formula, and it’s definitely worth playing, the Elunes are interesting, the combat makes you have to consider formations, and you can set the game to auto grind if you’ve got stuff to do around the house, so you can grind even if you don’t have that much free time, which is nice as I’ve got 2 kids and considerably less free time than I used to. Gamevil, keep up the good work! ### 3/5 — Piecemaker74 *2020-05-07, version 2.9.0* The event shop was fixed. Great. The only reason I give three stars is because I can’t find any other games with cool graphics as this one on my phone. Other than that this game has gotten really boring. Devs. Like I said before. Introducing new characters (2nd one in a month and a half) is not a good idea. Most people haven’t had their current characters maxed and you guys keep popping up new ones. That’s great for people who spend. What about the rest of us. You added the adverse stages (1 stage above hard). Great. But they’re just the old stages a little harder and the drop rate and amount is a joke. Let me explain. We need 480 shards of legendary characters or 360 of epic and if we’re lucky, we’ll get one shard after a battle ( which by the way doesn’t happen). Devs. You guys need to introduce new chapters, new stages and make sure when you provide a stage where people gonna go grind for items, it makes it worth while because what you’re doing right now is just trying to fool people. Rubbish!!!!!!! ### 4/5 — Great game, but... *2020-03-02, version 2.6.0* This game is awesome. The challenges, the need to upgrade heroes and finally getting them strong enough to beat the next level is awesome. The problem I have with this game is that you have to sign in and find the right server. No I haven’t lost anything, unless I choose to not sign into my account. But it’s annoying when these types of games do this. And yes this isn’t the only game to do that. The only game that’s remotely similar to this game that doesn’t do this signing out after every update is Heir of Light. Take notes, make the server system just like that. Otherwise, good game. ### 2/5 — Guest account *2020-02-11, version 2.5.3* I had created a guest account about a year and a half ago and played on it ever since. Never had I been prompted or warned to connect to Hive account or Apple ID so I didn’t see a reason. During the last update I had received a prompt to logging into a Hive account as soon as I opened the game. Since this was new to me, I thought it wouldn’t hurt to sign in and add my guest account to it. No. It removed my guest account and the almost two years of play time I had put it. Luckily I found out that I could get it back through customer service. Well, it’s been a week and a half and I have received no updates as to if they can get my guest account back. It makes me so utterly sad that I’m gonna lose everything I had worked for just because I had been warned of the possible dangers. Hopefully customer support can update me soon because I would love to get back to this amazing game. ### 4/5 — Pretty great but... *2020-02-03, version 2.5.1* It’s an amazing game with interesting/creative character with really awesome animation but my only problem is the quietly of the animation. A lot of the characters are a bit fuzzy with a weird outline that kinda makes it look like it was copy and pasted into the game without tweaking it a little bit. It is true you get a lot of really cool stuff such as legendary heroes, but I’m still trying to figure out how to even do the tutorial. It claims you’ll get rewards from it and the rewards look pretty good but how do I even start the tutorial? I’ve tapped around and it’ll start a small one for certain things like upgrading your skills and such but that’s kinda about it. I do recommend this game tho as it is well done and I personally like how they credit the voice actors. Great game overall :) ### 4/5 — Event details *2020-01-21, version 2.4.2* The game is a great but my only issue is with events for newer players. Right now with the bingo event I won’t be able to complete 4 lines (2 challenges) because I haven’t reached account level 35 and that’s with the account exp boost applied almost every time I play. ### 4/5 — Fun but w bugs *2020-01-07, version 2.4.1* this is a relatively fun game of this genre, and they definitely start u off w a lot of resources. This is kind of offset by all the game crashes. it crashes once every few minutes, usually in fights, and there are no rewards, and u cant keep playing it. otherwise its great ### 4/5 — Bugs, Issues *2019-12-18, version 2.4.0* I love this game so much i’ve been playing this for 1 month already, but i took a little break so i un installed it but when i decided to come back and re install the game it didn’t let me play the game i was still stuck at the loading screen for at least 30 minutes so please fix this bug or issues. ### 4/5 — Great game need more content *2019-12-03, version 2.3.1* This is a great game but I feel like the game ends once you have lvl 80 gear and maxed elunes there isn’t much to do after that even the level 11-12 bosses don’t feel rewarding for a 35 minute run needs more content and a flow of content that when you beat something you aren’t stuck for eternity to get to next level same goes for pvp the rewards are terrible and alliance battle is pretty lame. But amazing game up until this point it was very fun to get where I’m up to now I’m just bored ### 4/5 — Character lineup dull *2019-11-28, version 2.3.1* If you want to compete with raid and summoners ,marvel ,Star Wars then your gonna NEED TO INCREASE the amount of characters that are available to obtain in game, whether grinding or god forbid purchasing but either way this is an absolute must if you don’t wish to fizzle out. But overall the game is like all others of it’s type but has its pros and cons ### 3/5 — Has potential *2019-08-21, version 2.1.1* The game is doing a lot of things right so don’t take the three star too negatively. I like the heroes and the summoning system, gear is handled pretty well as are skills and evolutions. The fusion system is fantastic. That being said, this feels like a bigger grind than some of the other gacha out there. PvE is not very exciting and the raid bosses come with many tedious mechanics, exploiting has been a bigger thing than actually improving your teams power level. PvP falls into a similar category where it feels tedious. Having a hard time getting into this game when some of the things make me bored after a few minutes and there are other more enjoyable gacha out there. Look forward to future improvements, the game is new so hopefully they fix it. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — P2w *2022-07-21, version 2.11.17* Seriously a p2w game. Summon rate is horrible. Low level enemy monsters are way stronger and faster even though they are half your level. Materials are hard to farm and cost gems to re-enter after just once. Armors and weapons doesn’t help much as it requires too much just to level it up. Not worth the time unless you seriously just have too much money and you got nowhere to throw it at. ### 1/5 — After spending months playing this game, I quit *2020-02-15, version 2.5.3* I have no idea about whether this is just me, but the fact is that I just spent 3000+ rubies summoning Sophia and got nothing becomes the last straw. 10+ pulls and only one legendary hero (which I already have plenty of) showed up. I did not even mention that I kept getting The same legendary heroes all the time previously. As I started to play this game, the gotcha system seems broken to me. I kept getting the same heroes (Arslan, Barr) no matter it comes from the guaranteed pull after spending 6000 rubies on gotcha, or merging elite/legendary heroes. From this perspective, I have to say that these developers are really greedy that collecting rubies after the initial state is painful so if you want new hero, you’d better pay. They are also smart that If you complain that the pull rate is low, they just say things like “but we do have guaranteed legendary hero pull” to pretend that nothing happens. Game deleted now. ### 1/5 — Wish the game worked *2019-12-06, version 2.3.1* I would like to actually be able to play this game without waiting constantly for it to do anything. I have a new phone and current iOS plus high speed internet and it takes forever to go from one screen or task to another. None of my other games have this issue. So if you fix the game to actually work without constant load delays then I will play....I don’t need to be frustrated with a game, that’s not the point of them. ### 1/5 — Extremely poor Unit pull rates *2019-12-05, version 2.3.1* I started playing this game and enjoyed it a decent but. I got far enough to unlock the free x10 pull with 30 rerolls to almost guarantee you receive at least one yellow tier/SR/legendary unit. I rerolled 30 times and not once received a unit above purple/epic rarity. It should have at least guaranteed one good unit pull. I considered restarting to get to the free pulls again and try my luck, then decided I do not wish to play a game where the pull rates for higher rarity are that abysmal when many other games are much more generous. ### 1/5 — World boss crashing *2019-09-22, version 2.1.6* The game crashes daily on world boss. These activities in game give you valuable currency to purchase items. I’ve sent in a dozen tickets about the issue over the last month and their response (sent over a month later) was that I should try the game on a different phone to see if I still crash. I use an iPhone XR, they should be making sure all devices function properly. This is unacceptable customer service ### 1/5 — Love the game despite the crashes *2019-08-23, version 2.1.1* I can understand having an outdated Iphone, but the crashes get to be very disheartening. I have an iPhone 6 and i can play this game for hours on affinity farming with minimal to no issue but the crashes at gear boss really screw me over because its like kill the boss before the game crashes. It works sometimes but not all the time crashed tonight for me on tree and fox. Not to mention i cant fight the goth twins on ice road normal like at all despite using data or wifi. Ps everything else is spectacular and don't have a complaint about gameplay at all, great job guys! Pss fix the crashes pls:^} ### 1/5 — This is not the way to make a Gacha game *2019-08-19, version 2.1.1* Like many modern Gacha games, this game is beautiful and exciting for the first two weeks. Then it stalls. A lack of "class seeds," an exorbitant amount of which is needed to fully grow a character, is one contributing factor. Even more so is lack of interesting objectives and rewards later in the game. -Good teams require no synergy; you need some of the top DPS characters and some good healing/shields/tank. Team building is a benchmark test and does not engage the brain. -Character skills are very strong so PvE is imbalanced. Late-game enemies are forced to rely on very hard hits and late-game bosses are forced to rely on big AoE attacks. The design is very one-sided. -There's nothing to aim for after the first few weeks. Do I need another copy of a Legendary character if I already have 5 waiting for class seeds, and I won't be able to upgrade this one for 4-5 months? No. This kills the excitement of pulling a Legendary character completely. -In general, this feels like a well done, beautiful game with almost no original concepts... PvE, PvP, gear system, skill upgrades etc. all essentially reskin of what you have all seen in other Gacha games. Please show Gamevile that you want to see Gacha games with good *long-term* design by not spending money on this game right away. Play for 2-3 months before you make your decision. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback about Elune. We will look into making improvements to Elune based on your feedback. ### 1/5 — V2.1.0 No Attention to Detail *2019-08-16, version 2.1.0* Devs surprise “Fixed” Caroline bug on her s2 which used to proc 100% of the time making her do crazy damage. She’s currently useless any epic or other legendary can easily out damage her cuz someone didn’t do some math and or test post fix. Announced Alvida banner is not present even though it supposed to be. Alliance boss and all its titles and so forth are just a bunch of dumb placeholders such as: UI/GUILD_BOSS_ACC_DAMAGE_VALUE or UI/GUILD_ACC_POINT I’ll overlook the countless translation errors and consistent game crashes for now. Game is playable however this update v2.1.0 clearly lacks any sort of attention to detail. It’s just so rushed it hurts to even think about, there are some very good fixes but they bit of more than they could chew. I don’t like to pay or play games that have surprises like this. I won’t be playing Elune until they can at least polish this update, it was dumb they felt the need to push it so fast. I’ll fix this one star rating when the devs fix their product. **Developer response:** We are currently working on fixing some UI issue after v2.1.0. I have to say from what I have seen from initially playing the game that it looks like a very cool game with many great features... having said that, I can only give it one star until they fix the issues with the game crashing. I know others have written reviews about this problem as well so they are obviously not putting the time/effort to fix these issues yet so have deleted it for now but will check back in a few weeks to see if anything is improved... until it is not playable ### 1/5 — Don’t play. Bad exploit *2019-07-31, version 2.0.7* Ok so I’m posting this here cuz every other post I made about this gets deleted by reddit or the company. Do not play this game. There is an exploit in the game where you can beat the stage ten bosses early on if you have 2 3* characters in your team. Chloe vann and goansari. Basically you keep the bosses permanently stunned with Chloe’s skill. It’s game breaking cuz if you don’t do the exploit, the others that do will have top end gear while you don’t. That wouldn’t be bad if there wasn’t pvp involved. Now if they fix the exploit, well then those that have already done it will have way better gear than you. You might be losing some pvp matches cuz the other person did the exploit for the gear while you didn’t. The exploit takes away from any team diversity for bosses. Just have Chloe and gao with 3 others and you are good. The game was fun but this just killed it. I recommend trying a different game. **Developer response:** Hey 05031979, we are aware of the situation where Gaonsari and Chloe Vann are used for Boss Stages. I would always push myself to try missions even if it meant spending an hour just to get 3 stars, All of the Elune that you can collect makes me want to push myself forward to collect them all! Also all the missions you can do ( Normal, Hard, and Adverse ) I Connor wait to beat the game, but until then that’s my review for now! Peace! ✌️ ### 5/5 — Amazing *2020-07-02, version 2.10.0* I played Summoners war for 6 years and was a constant top 30 player. I’ve tried many JRPG style games along the way. I notice there’s either a paywall or lack of replay ability. I notice that this game has not hit any paywall and I get constant rewards for playing. I hope that this NEVER changes. The option to spend money if wanted but not having to is becoming rare. Constant rewards!!! Wow I’m so amazed and impressed!! I do have one small complaint and can easily be fixed! For repeat auto battle!! If you get 3 stars you’re able to leave it and it will build up!! However it leaves the phone on and my battery has drained numerous times!! Maybe adding skip battle x2, x5, or x10 would be helpful!! I did just throw in a couple example numbers but still!
