Every time I’ve used this the service has been late and several times they did my phone bill payment wrong. Other times they couldn’t find what I was looking for but when I called one place they claimed to have checked I found it. Total fraudsters! ### 4/5 — Incredible and Extremely Useful!!! *2020-04-22* I never write reviews. But this is one I decided to write because of the current global situation and the need for apps such as Elves. This app works. Everything (within reason) that you need can be delivered right to your door. Easy to use, easy to use! 4 stars because there is a glitch with the app when it comes to uploading a photo. The app closes whenever I try to do this. Hopefully this will be resolved. I needed a book for book club and I asked the Elves delivery to pick up my friends karaoke machine from her house. Done and easy with Elves! They pay my Orange bill for me electronically! I book restaurant reservations with them. I needed Cookies from a dog bakery? Elves found some, gave me the options, and delivered them to me last minute! Ballet tickets? They will buy them for me and deliver them. Sephora eyeliner? Elves checked all over Egypt and discovered there’s no Sephora distributor but helped me find the perfect comparable highly rated matte black liquid liner. Needed ice for a party and an extra Brie cheese. Boom - at my door with them. They’re super nice and friendly too. I’ve been using this app for the last 5 months and never had any negative issue. ### 1/5 — Bad service *2018-12-14, version 2.0* Unprofessional hopeless case. Don’t use this service ### 5/5 — Life savors! *2017-03-25* Ever since I moved to the States, getting errands done in Egypt has been literally impossible! I'm completely out of reach! I do ask family and friends to help me sometimes but they do have a life! And it is very impractical if you are trying to surprise them for their birthdays! Our driver wouldn't be able to do most things I ask. I tried asking another errand-running service to help me, but they did not have online payment, the number provided was a short number which I can't call from outside of Egypt, and they didn't answer emails! To reach them I had to get someone in Egypt to call them, while I open my Egypt roaming mobile, so they can call me back.... and then I can ask them for the service. And still in most cases they failed to do the errand in time or it would've taken more time than I could afford. I gave up, and thought I have to face the fact that I'm too far away. Depressing! Then came "my" elves (yes, MINE!), and they saved me! I just send them a msg on their app or on Facebook. They are quick to respond, and have done it all! Birthdays, errands, and even picked up my certificates from college! They just send me a link and I can pay online, or they can go pick up he money from a specific place. They are my super heros and saviors while I'm too far away to do things myself. It makes me less home sick, since I feel I'm still at reach...in a way.
