It arrived with no gravy whatsoever, which is pretty unforgivable for a roast. The vegetables were completely dried out, tasteless, and seemed as though they’d been reheated several times. The Yorkshire pudding was rock hard and stale, not fresh in the slightest. The meat was cheap, tough meat rather than proper roast meat, and the potatoes were so hard they were almost inedible. The cauliflower cheese was watery liquid which had curdled. There wasn’t a single bit of flavour in the entire meal. It was dry, bland, and felt like something that had been sitting around for hours before being sent out. To make matters worse, when I raised the issue, the staff couldn’t have cared less. There was no attempt to put things right, and a complete lack of customer service. For the price charged, this was completely unacceptable. I certainly won’t be ordering again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a decent Sunday roast. ### 1/5 — Not impressed *2026-05-30, version 3.6.2* Earned my free drink via scanning my rewards card only to loose it when trying to use it bar tender said it wasn’t useable on the drink I had ordered so the next time I went to the bar I ordered the drink that was redeemable only to find the reward had disappeared from my app ### 1/5 — Terrible App *2026-03-28, version 3.6.1* Stamps keep disappearing. They always say that offer ended last week (even when there’s still a month to go) or they don’t do that here. Food good staff good surroundings good. The service has been excellent, especially from a young man working behind the bar (apologies, we didn’t catch his name). He is a real credit to your team—always greeting us with a smile and being very attentive to all customers. The food has been spot on every visit—served hot and clearly prepared with care.
