## What is Ember?

We tried the existing migraine trackers and they all left us wanting more. So we built Ember.

Ember was designed and built by a headache specialist (and fellow person living with migraine disease) who was tired of watching his patients walk into appointments unable to describe the last three months. It tracks the details that actually matter, so your visit starts with a clear picture instead of a blurry memory reconstruction.

LOG YOUR DAY IN SECONDS
Tap your pain level and your symptoms, then note any meds you took. The interface is midnight-dark and calm, gentle enough to open during an attack and simple enough to return to every day. There are no streaks to lose and no badges to earn.

PATTERNS YOU CAN TRUST
Ember's logic engine is based on the International Classification of Headache Disorders (ICHD-3). It sorts your taps into clear days, headache days, symptom days, and migraine days for you, so you can stop debating whether yesterday counted. The logic is deterministic, with zero AI under the hood.

YOUR 90-DAY CALENDAR
Most headache clinics ask for three months of tracking, especially when reviewing treatments like Botox or CGRP preventives. Ember's 90-day calendar shows severity, migraine and headache markers, symptom-only days, menstrual cycle correlation, medication use, and treatment cycles in one view you and your provider can read at a glance.

INSIGHTS YOU CAN BRING TO YOUR PROVIDER
Ember summarizes frequency, severity, function, disability scores, medication use, and treatment response over time, then exports it all as a PDF your provider can actually use. Frequency alone never tells the whole story, so Ember also surfaces the changes in severity and function that otherwise get missed.

BUILT FOR REAL CHRONIC MIGRAINE TREATMENTS
Track Botox and preventive cycles with onset, wearing-off, and breakthrough days. Layer treatments and see how you responded to each one both individually and in combination. Acute meds are logged with rebound risk awareness, the way your headache specialist thinks about them.

YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE
Your health data lives entirely on your device. Nothing is uploaded, and nothing is sold or shared. You can always choose when and how to share it.

FREE TO USE
Ember is now free to use. Every feature is included because we believe migraine tracking should be accessible for everyone. If Ember earns a place in your routine, and you are finding value from it, there are optional ways to support its developer from inside the app.

*DISCLAIMER:
Ember is a personal wellness and pattern-tracking tool. Everything it generates is patient-reported information and a starting point for conversations with your clinician. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace professional medical care.
