This thing constantly turns off. Even if you set the app to a certain time, it randomly turns off. 
The app is slow and cumbersome.
It’s a hassle to have to use an app each time you want a device powered so at least make the app work quickly and smoothly.

Strip works ok until you download the worst app.  Simple but yet horrible directions.  If you like getting frustrated then this is the app for you.

Terrible shuts off on you in mid use without notice and only have 2 power slots that actually stay on forever just unplug your stuff it’s less of a hassel

No matter how long the timer is set for, the power outlet always turns off within the first 10 minutes of me turning it on through the app. None of my electronics charge properly due to this. Furthermore, the app is slow, and it connecting through bluetooth is finicky at best. The app doesn’t even fit on my screen. Overall just an annoying mess

Can not get the "emberconnect"device to pair with Bluetooth!

Using an iPhone 7, drops connection and sometimes reconnects. I’ve installed and uninstalled this app and deleted and re-paired the two embertec bars. Issues are frustrating.

Cool setup... but, I tried to pair my iPhone 7 Plus to my timer/strip. Every time I press the Bluetooth button on the app and it attempts to pair up to the timer the app crashes. Can’t stand only two hour intervals when we watch movies. You can use the other side of the strip but it defeats the purpose of the timer....

The free Emberconnect app is not worth the price. It was so annoying that within a day I removed the Emberstrip and went back to the TrickleStar.
