## What is EmberHome?

EmberHome is the shared home app for people who live together: roommates, couples and families. Split chores fairly, keep one shopping list everyone can see, and watch every little win add up.

A HOME THAT RUNS ITSELF
• See every room at a glance: what's clean, what's due and what needs a little love.
• Give every chore an owner, a due date and a priority, so nobody has to ask twice.
• Tick a chore off and everyone in your home sees it right away.

ONE SHARED SHOPPING LIST
• Everyone adds, everyone sees. No more "did you get milk?" texts.
• Items are grouped by category and stay in sync on every phone.

FAIR, NOT FORGOTTEN
• Points and streaks make everyone's effort visible.
• Invite people with a simple code and choose who helps manage the home.

MADE FOR REAL LIFE
• Changes sync in real time between everyone in your home.
• Keep going offline; EmberHome catches up when you're back online.
• Sign in with Apple or with email. No ads, no tracking.
• Available in English, Turkish, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch and Brazilian Portuguese.

EMBER PLUS
Ember Plus adds Progress insights that show your home's weekly rhythm and who might need a hand. One subscription covers everyone in your home, up to 12 people.

Ember Plus is an auto-renewable subscription, available monthly or yearly. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.1 — 2026-10-22

Make chores your own with rooms, repeat schedules and points. Start with ready-made chores for couples or housemates, see recent activity and each person's weekly share, and undo a completion when needed. Optional reminders and household announcements help with jobs still waiting. Pending offline changes are now kept on this device when you close the app; open it again and retry syncing when connected.

Draw your home's rooms and floors in the new house plan editor, or start from a one, two or three floor layout. Can't decide which chore comes first? Spin the wheel and let it pick. In flatshares, whoever scored the fewest points last week spins the weekly penalty wheel; owners and admins can turn it off. For the penalty wheel to work for everyone, everybody in the home needs version 1.1.

Ember Plus now covers the whole home: when one person subscribes, everyone in the home gets Plus, up to 12 people. For sharing to work, everyone in the home needs version 1.1.

Leave a home or remove someone from it; the invite code changes when someone is removed.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-10-10

Recurring chores are now free for every home, and they keep repeating no matter who ticks them off. New invite screen: send your home code straight to WhatsApp or Messages, or paste it to join. Optional reminders when your chores are due.

### 1.0 — 2026-09-29
