## What is Emberpage?

He buried our daughter on Tuesday. On Wednesday his mistress moved into my house.

Emberpage is a home for serialized romance: werewolf, mafia and billionaire stories that open on a betrayal and end every chapter somewhere you did not expect. Wives who find out at a funeral. Sisters who wear the wrong dress. A husband who has been dead for four years and is buying timber in Idaho.

Every story here was written for this app. New titles and new chapters are added regularly, so a book you finish today is not the end of it.

THE FIRST CHAPTERS ARE FREE
Every book opens with three free chapters — enough to know whether it has you. After that, chapters unlock one at a time.

BUILT FOR READING, NOT SCROLLING
• Real pages that turn, with a slide or a page curl
• Six reading themes: Light, Sepia, Mint, Gray, Dark and Night
• Five typefaces, with adjustable size, spacing and margins
• Your place is kept in every book, chapter by chapter
• Bookmarks and a library of the books you are following
• A chapter you have opened stays readable if you lose signal

NO ACCOUNT NEEDED
Start reading the second the app opens. No email, no password, no social login, no questionnaire. Add an email later if you want your library and your place in every book to survive a change of phone.

COINS AND PREMIUM
Coins unlock individual chapters. A free coin bonus is waiting every day, and you can buy more if you would rather not wait for it.

Premium unlocks every chapter of every book for as long as it is active.

Premium is an auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly and yearly. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically for the same price and period unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it any time in your Apple Account settings.

No advertising anywhere in the app.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.2 — 2026-09-08

Links to emberpage.pro now open inside the app. Tap a chapter link, or "Open" on the banner above the web reader, and you land on that book and that chapter instead of the home screen.

A book's reader count stays hidden until enough people are reading it for the number to mean anything.

New store screenshots, and the usual small fixes.

### 1.1 — 2026-08-30

New chapters, the moment they land.
Turn on notifications and the next twist finds you — no more opening the app to check whether the story moved.

Sign in with Apple.
Your coins, your library and the page you stopped on now follow your Apple ID. Change phones and nothing is left behind.

Reminders when you leave a story unfinished, with a switch of their own in Profile — keep the chapter alerts, drop the nudges, or turn both off.

New cover art for every book, and a lighter shelf that loads faster on mobile data.

### 1.0 — 2026-08-28
