The spark feature is my best tool for finding new five star reads! ### 5/5 — The quest to find a reading app is finally over!!! *2026-08-07* After trying several readings apps in past years, Embertale is the one that actually stuck. The recommendations actually feel personalized, and the app even explains why it thinks I’ll like something before I even start the book. There are so many cool features to discover on here, and the modern aesthetic is amazing!! Bonus points for being ad-free, not selling user data, and being built by an indie team of readers instead of a mega-corp. It’s rare to find an app this well-made that still feels this personal.
