Also, when you tap in the dollar entry box, the curser goes to the business purpose box. Very frustrating! ### 1/5 — Absolutely awful *2026-01-26* Replacing the Chromeriver and CR Snap apps, this is a non-intuitive nightmare, almost unusable on an iPad due to the screen size. The camera flash cannot be set to ON per default, so you have to struggle with dark shadows on the receipts. I also think that there should be dark mode support. It is pretty strenuous to look like for long periods of time. I’d love to see this app updated to adopt the new iOS 26 Liquid Glass aesthetic. I don’t really need to think about the images syncing over when completing my reports. The home page is simple to use, the ability to capture photos is seriously enhanced and one of the best I’ve used (receipt capture is extremely accurate, multi-page capture is easy), and submitting expenses, and approving team expense is all there an easy!!! ### 5/5 — Huge upgrade! *2025-07-11* I’ve been using Emburse Enterprise for about a year. First, it always has been better than other expense apps. However, the recent upgrade has supercharged the app! It pulls the data right out of the receipts when I take pictures. It has made it even easier to document and submit my expenses. ### 1/5 — Not Ready *2025-06-30, version 2.1.0* We had to stop the deployment of this application to our end users and will not be redeploying unless significant fixes are made. The app is buggy, times out, OCR technology is not accurate. I have to save to files, open the app, and then add upload. I should be able to use the “Share” option when viewing a PDF and select the Emburse application. This should then upload the receipt. This is the way SAP Concur worked that we just were forced to switch from. ### 1/5 — Safari can’t open the page because your iPhone isn’t connected not connected to the internet *2026-06-09* Trying to log in after downloading and I just keep getting the message in the title. Opened a ticket with Emburse support and no response in over 24 hours. Would be nice to see Emburse do more testing with future updates before taking down entire enterprise deployments. **Developer response:** Hi, we’re sorry to hear about your experience. Over and over again. Finally got past that to the SSO login. I authenticated and guess what. It put me back to the login screen. Being able to capture my receipts on the go and not have to move around with a stack of crumpled receipts has made my work travel life 10 times easier! Plus the added benefit of getting the expense transcribed into the report when I’m ready to create it so I don’t have to start from scratch. It’s easy to capture my receipts right at the restaurant when I’m at a business dinner, note the people that attended and upload the receipts before I even get back to the office.
