Previously connected my RayNeo pro 4 glasses and they didn’t work. Tried them again and they work now. Well done for fixing this. However, I just tried streaming my Emby to hotel TV and this doesn’t work. I’ve tried it on many hotel tvs. It sometimes half works, as in starts but can’t move backwards or forwards. Now appears to not work at all. Fix this and it goes 5 stars.

The app seems to work good, however I can’t get it to work remotely with Tailscale nothing plays back including video and audio. However if I open my server in Firefox playback is just fine. Needs some work for remote connections it seems.

Used to be an exceptional app; terrific media centre, minimal glitches. The ability to download for offline viewing has recently been removed and represents a huge step back.  Hopefully the developers can reintroduce that feature along with others soon!

Videos play consistently well on remote clients. However, Audio files do NOT, regardless of formatting, I.e. AAC, MP3, FLAC. This is an app problem, NOT a server problem … IMHO

And BTW, Jellyfin works fine with Tailscale, with the latest Windows backend and IOS app.

My workaround? Emby for video, Jellyfin for audio, accessing the same libraries … 😎

UPDATE: appears to be fixed. Stars adjusted. 

As the title says, can’t play videos out over hdmi. Paid for the playback, but be aware it only works on the phone screen.

The server is good, it’s good on Apple TV.

Superbe appli pour accéder à différents serveurs. 
Fluide, pas de bugs constatés par contre l’application se déconnecte automatiquement et là je n’ai plus accès au remplissage automatique de mon identifiant et mdp ?
Est-ce normal merci pour votre réponse.

I am someone who uses MB almost on the daily. I have a family member who runs a server and allows me to watch and stream media that I wanna watch however, within recent updates, I have noticed I am no longer allowed to screen cast, and I use a projector as my TV so now I’m no longer allowed to watch Emby as TV so thanks for whatever update you did because you’ve completely destroyed your app for me.

Bloody great app with a epic team behind it, they will answer all your questions and help you if needed! It does sometimes crash but realoading it has never not worked for me. Don’t listen to all the other fake reviews this is a bloody great app and a wayyyy cheaper alternative to disney + or netflix

More frequently than not, the app will launch but not load, continuously circling the green ring on iPhone. I’ve done all the fixes Google and others have suggested, nothing works. Extremely frustrating

Useless app.  Tricks you into thinking it work but then constantly prompts for unlock fee.  Pure greed.  Go with jellyfin instead which has no paywalls.

Just connected my RayNeo pro 4 glasses and they don’t work.  They work with all the rest of the iPhone apps. Viewing enby was the main reason I bought these glasses.

So the first new version in over a year and it still crashes when playing audio on a Mac with Studio Display.  I know there are workarounds that reduce the audio functionality of Studio Display to make it work, but I find that unacceptable.

Развернул в Docker на TNAS по локалке шикарно работает, а вот приложение просит денег ну да ладно решил купить вечную подписку, купил работает очень даже хорошо транскодинг на лету смотрю в дороге без проблем.

Latest update makes some vids playback with sound but black screen :-(

Don’t forget to check in iOS to be sure the Emby app has “Local Network” enabled. Otherwise, you will get a lot of playback errors.

Runs slimmer than plex .. much less bloat. If you learn to use the Direct play options it pushes the file for the client to handle. Much better pricing model than plex and Allows for up to 30 device for one price. Highly recommended.

You just need to be aware of what codex’s your phone supports, and have your server do the work if your phone needs some help.
