## What is emdeplam?

Chụp đi, em đẹp lắm. ("Go on, take it. You look great.")

emdeplam is a camera, photo editor and short-video recorder. Everything runs on your phone: no account, no internet needed, no ads, no forced watermark. Every feature is free right now.

PHOTO STRIPS AT HOME
• Shoot a strip of 2, 3 or 4, or a grid of 4 or 9, tall or wide: lights count down, a pose prompt for every shot (Mix, Cute, Cool, Couple, Squad or Peekaboo packs), a 3, 5 or 10 second timer
• Face effects: 9 pieces like a cat ear hood, a velvet cherry hood, a knit frog hood, a rhinestone tiara and gem heart glasses follow your face right on your phone. Nothing is saved or sent, and a face's shape never changes
• Cameras: shoot through 8 cameras, Soft film, Sunny film, Plastic cam, Instant, B&W film, Digicam, Pink CCD and Night flash, each with its own color, grain and flash, and a date in the corner if you like
• A Regular or Wide viewfinder for every print size; shoot sideways by turning your phone
• Selfies in the dark: the front camera's Screen light, even, heart or star shaped, in 13 colors
• Live strips: every shot keeps a moment of movement, saved as a GIF or a video
• Already have the photos? Pick them from your library and edit each one like in Develop, Beauty included
• 26 frame styles and 19 backdrops like a velvet curtain, pink satin, lace on denim, a café table or a journal, or No backdrop to save at real print size, 2×6 or 4×6 in
• Up to 3 strips on one backdrop: drag to move, two fingers to size, turn 15° a tap
• Rhinestone stickers: a rhinestone word in your own words, stone hearts and bows, a flip phone, plus Glitter dust and Floating hearts over the whole print
• A caption under or over the strip in 7 typefaces, undo and redo, unfinished strips wait in your drafts

STORY COLLAGES
• Pick 1 to 6 photos and they drop into 34 layouts: 9:16 stories, or carousels of seamless slides
• Pop out: tap a person or an object in a photo and it steps out of its cell, over the photo next to it (objects need iOS 17 or later)
• One film look over the whole story; Match colors brings every photo to one shared tone
• Backgrounds from your photos' colors, plain colors, patterns or surfaces; Slant light in the color you pick
• Time and date fill in from the photos; add a place, a line or a now-playing card, even behind the person
• Stickers above or under the photos, saved with no watermark, undo and redo, unfinished stories wait in your drafts

106 FILM LOOKS
• 30 looks from Vietnam: Sài Gòn, Thu Hà Nội, Sương Đà Lạt, Tím Huế, Phố Hội…
• 8 studio looks: Movie Still, Pine Hill, Afterglow, Salt Cream…
• Preview every look on your own photo, with suggestions picked for each photo
• Exposure, contrast, HSL, a tone curve, toning, natural skin smoothing, color match from a reference photo
• Light & shadow: a spot of light, a window streak or a cast shadow right on the photo
• Free crop, straighten and perspective, saved at full resolution
• Every photo you edit is a draft you can reopen any time

CODES TO SHARE
• Color codes, frame codes and story codes: send friends how you graded a photo, dressed a strip or built a story, with a QR. They paste the code and use it on their own photos, no internet needed, and none of your photos go with it

TRANSITION VIDEO
• Record several clips, trim each one, then save them as one video, with drafts to keep shooting later
• Turn on Align: the last frame of the previous clip shows faintly, so the cut lines up

FIVE ROOMS, FOUR LANGUAGES
• Bright, Candy, Matcha, Cloud and Night: pick a dot on Home and the whole app follows
• Vietnamese, English, Traditional Chinese and Korean

YOUR PHOTOS STAY ON YOUR PHONE
emdeplam collects no data and never uploads your photos. Face effects and cutting out people and objects run on your phone too, with nothing saved or sent. Photos save to your library, and you decide where to share them.

### 1.4 — 2026-10-25

• Two new rooms, Matcha and Cloud: the whole app comes in five, Bright, Candy, Matcha, Cloud and Night, picked with a dot right on Home
• Story codes: share your collage's style (layout, backdrop, look, font, where the text sits, stickers) as a card with a QR. Friends paste the code and make the same story with their own photos, no internet needed
• Story collage gets 5 new layouts: Three slices, Close-up, Arch, Wide margin and Triptych. Stories made with Y2K, Chat or Receipt open as Staggered or Top & bottom

• Your strip on a backdrop: drag to move it, two fingers to size it, turn it 15° a tap or set it straight
• Slant light: pick the light's color in the Backdrop tab, now a softer band
• A calmer strip camera: the viewfinder keeps your picture, one pose line and your strip
• Live: the LIVE button says plainly whether it's on, and live shots are more reliable
• Viewfinder: Regular as before, or Wide, bigger for every print size and great for group shots. Shoot sideways by turning your phone

• Big photos open faster, and the app says Loading photo while one isn't on your phone yet

• Draft strips open at the size they were saved. The 0.5× button shows on phones set to Vietnamese too. Pink hearts on Sticker sheet and Ribbons & lace no longer save black. Small fixes and smoother
