However, latest app install has removed the ‘Interrupt’ option. So frustrating! Also… why doesn’t the app work in the background? I am a therapist for kids and the kids love it, especially the pulsators and the sound. The issue I am having is it will not allow me to use longs I’ve downloaded on Apple Music to play during sessions. Please fix this! Sinon quand tout fonctionne c’est un super outil ! ### 2/5 — Great light bar but the pulsators are unreliable *2020-11-23, version 2.1.1* I have a love hate relationship with my EMDRKit. I’ve had problems from the beginning- the pulsators just won’t stay connected via Bluetooth. I’ve used the system with 3 different iPhones and have upgraded pulsators and the issue still exists. When I have the pulsators sitting right next to my phone the signal is only at 3 or 4, never at 5. When I’m sitting 6-8 feet from the client the connection is barely a 1 or 2 and the connection drops if I stop the machine for more than 30 seconds. Sometimes the connection drops during a set. It’s really annoying and I will probably look for a new solution once I’m back in the office full time. ### 3/5 — App doesnt work *2018-09-30, version 1.5* After the latest update, the app crashes after pushing start button. Unfortunately the product is only as good as the app since all devices are controlled by it. They do periodic updates but each one has its own errors and faults. Plus bug fixes are not happening quickly enough. ### 5/5 — Best EMDR equipment available *2017-10-30, version 1.5* I purchased the EMDR kit following my EMDRIA basic training. The instructors only made mention and recommendations towards the classic equipment makers such as Neurotek. I was disappointed to see the options considering the prices and the fact that all of the equipment looked like it hadn't been updated since the 90's. So I couldn't believe that in this day and age it was the best people had to offer- especially as EMDR continues to advance! So I stumbled across the EMDR Kit 2 online and was immediately drawn to its innovative design and use of current technology, but even moreso the fact that it is app-based. This means that the product and features that it has when I purchase it will not be static, but that can continue to be updated and improved upon. Because of this potential, I decided to go for it- even though I knew it was a risk due to me not having any personal reviews and the flip side of innovation being the potential for bugs and poor technical follow thru (just because they CAN update the app doesn't mean they will). In fact, when I first received the product I had a couple big issues with it, being the inability to sync the bls, only having a timer rather than a count of the passes, and inconsistency connecting the pulsars. Dismayed I reached out to the developers and received the most excellent customer service from the outset. They validated my concerns, offered helpful suggestions, and informed me of current efforts to address my concerns in future updates- including offering specifics! They seemed to really value my feedback and take it to consideration. Since those initial concerns, I have seen three significant updates and I am VERY grateful to say that not only are they all resolved, but the app has made other big improvements including adding additional features!! I could not be more excited about this product and have better things to say about the developers! When I first opened it a few weeks ago, the app was working except that my music wouldn’t connect properly to the audio options. Since their most recent update, however, the app crashes every time I go to use it. I’m hoping they will resolve this soon. It’s really disappointing to have spent the money on these tools and have them now rendered completely useless. ### 1/5 — No longer works *2025-08-15* Oddly, they released an update that broke the app. It no longer works. Perhaps it also resolved a bug you were experiencing. ### 1/5 — Experience has went down *2025-04-18, version 3.0.0* With the new look and feel updated, the EMDR on headphones is not working properly. I hear the tap in both AirPod headphones now. Before it was clear and crisp and you would hear one tap alternating in each headphone. Now I hear the beat in both headphones - which is not EMDR!! Please fix this. Teens and adults liked the audio options with the music I provided. With the new update now none of my music works. I have an Apple phone with specific music purchased to work on this app. Now I have to download the music differently which I don’t know how to do. Soooo frustrating and such significant interruption to my patient care right now. I use this all the time for self work with IFS or coupling with meditation. BLS works so well for me and I am grateful that this product exists. 🙏 ### 5/5 — Great! And I have a suggestion! *2024-05-09, version 2.5.0* I’m really liking this app and using the pulsators and headphones with my clients. One suggestion I have is I would really like to be able to turn the pulsators’ vibration completely off and just use the lights on the pulsators for eye movements. It’s not a big deal because I can just place a blanket down and the pulsators don’t buzz around on the table anymore. (They dance around a little even at 5% intensity on a hard surface.) You can use any headphones with the headphone option. I recommend buying the whole kit though as it makes EMDR sessions much more effective. You can change speed control how long stimulation lasts, and truly customize it for your client or yourself. No more tired hands and arms! I’ve used it in over 40 sessions. Of course it’s designed to used with their equipment and of little value without it. It works great for that. Unfortunately, because the producer is in the EU, I have not been able to purchase other options stateside. I am also cheap, so waiting for a cheaper tapper (corded or not). If I can get a Bluetooth headset for $30...tappers shouldn’t be much more. ### 5/5 — I love it!! *2018-05-01, version 1.5* I have been using the advanced lapscan from neurotek for a number of years. I usually have to sit in front of the lapscan so I can control it. With the Bluetooth I can sit in front of the client and watch them better. Clients that couldn’t do eyes with the lapscan can do it with this machine. Most of all I love the Bluetooth with no cords! It’s so much easier than the machine I had!
