### 4/5 — Hard to read Latitude

*2026-05-19, version 3.0.1*

Only one complaint . The latitude is in red on a black background and is hard for me to read. I’m red/green colour blind but my wife (not colour blind) also says it’s dull. I suggest you either reuse the blue or use a neutral colour like light green.

### 4/5 — Works well

*2026-05-07, version 3.0.1*

Can you add the ability to copy and paste the GPS location from the app to be used in an SMS or email?

### 3/5 — Font colours in app

*2026-04-17, version 3.0.1*

Opened app 1st time on trails. As a red green colour blind male, I found it very difficult to read the red text on a black background. Otherwise great idea.

### 2/5 — dangerous app

*2025-12-23, version 3.0.1*

you want an emergency team to come to your home?
Good luck with that!
Test on my home showed address in a street 100 metres away, and a house number range ot 18
ie:accuracy within 100 m radius
Wierd, as pin on map was accurately on my house,so software issues, not gps

Not reliable
Therefore dangerous

### 4/5 — Great idea - COLOURS NEED WORK

*2025-12-22, version 3.0.1*

The app provides a great long for position and helpful refresher (eg CPR) but the colours need to be changeable - the deep read (eg for Latitude) is almost unreadable.

### 1/5 — bad gps location it is out by 100meters

*2025-10-28, version 3.0.1*

i just downloaded this app on recommendation from a consultant. the app looks good but the gps location mark correct but the street address is for another street approx than 50 meters.. suggest that apple map location services be set to less than 10 meters or less.

### 4/5 — Attach emergency vehicles to app once available

*2025-07-28, version 3.0.1*

Hello Team, I know emergency vehicles are tracked, can you add the attached vehicle when it is the persons turn in que. Maybe, also show all additional call outs on screen, it’s the only way to get more vehicles and operators in service. People need to see how many vehicles there are and how many call outs they attend, or are needing too attend turned on including the person using the apps

### 3/5 — Feature request

*2025-07-26, version 3.0.1*

Allow GPS coordinates to be copied. Would be very useful with Telstra Starlink SMS

### 1/5 — Bad choices for an important app

*2025-07-19, version 3.0.1*

Using a What3Words app is a costly, confusing and dangerous mistake. The words latitude and longitude are also unnecessary. Decimal coordinates should be used.

### 3/5 — What 3 words no longer displayed

*2025-06-26, version 3.0*

Since the update this week what 3 words is no longer displayed as a location option. Can only see ///.

### 4/5 — Please make the screen flash

*2025-05-31, version 2.3*

Great app 4.5 ⭐️
What can make it a 5⭐️ is the addition of a metronome in the app to help with CPR cadence. A flashing screen would be so much easier.

### 3/5 — CPR - no audio

*2025-03-29, version 2.3*

I can’t get the audio to work on my iPad or iPhone for all 3 royal life saving CPR videos

### 3/5 — Please update

*2025-03-14, version 2.3*

GPS needs to have bigger text if you have lost your glasses there’s no way you can read the coordinates atm

### 3/5 — Promoted to class

*2025-01-07, version 2.3*

I have promoted this to a class but think it should be available to more devices. For example, the iPad and browser.
I assume it has to do with maintaining the full functionality of the application.

### 1/5 — Bad choices for an important app

*2025-01-04, version 2.3*

Using a What3Words app is a costly, confusing and dangerous mistake. The words latitude and longitude are also unnecessary. Decimal coordinates should be used.

### 4/5 — Amazing but needs watchOS

*2024-11-28, version 2.3*

As someone who was in scouts and was a leader this app is an amazing development in Emergency Communication. It may have even been able to have MFS attend a fire a person died quicker due to confusing entry points. The only issue I find is it should have a watchOS companion app. This would allow use while out exercising, or even quicker access if the phone is say in a bag or something.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — What happened

*2026-05-17, version 3.0.1*

My wife was bitten by a snake two weeks ago. During the 150km drive to the hospital, I used the Emergency + app to call 000. The call simply dropped out. I called 000 instead from my keypad. Didn’t really inspire me with confidence in the app.

### 1/5 — Another 000 failure

*2026-04-11, version 2.3*

How many lives lost? Not backwards compatible for earlier operating systems defeats its fundamental purpose. Who approved this change?????? No longer functional.

### 1/5 — ios 18+ :(

*2026-04-07, version 3.0.1*

luckily never needed to use this app, and glad i opened it before i did. unfortunately the app is unusable unless you have ios 18, as it crashes seconds after opening. sure it’s great but not scooping out a thousand dollars for a new phone.

### 1/5 — App crashes after opening

*2026-03-20, version 2.3*

The app keeps crashing after a few seconds of being opened. Any rectification?
1 star only because I cannot use it!

### 1/5 — Grandma

*2026-02-15, version 3.0.1*

Yes you can open the app but why can’t you save it to your Home Screen!

### 1/5 — App not working on iPhone 8

*2026-02-08, version 3.0.1*

With the recent problems with apple iPhone 8 it seems that this app may not function. Each time I open it now it closes down

### 1/5 — Crashes upon opening

*2026-01-27, version 2.3*

Crashes within seconds of opening the app… so not all that useful in an emergency

### 1/5 — Crashing

*2025-12-14, version 2.3*

App crashing within 3 seconds of opening it

### 1/5 — App keeps crashing.

*2025-11-11, version 3.0.1*

My phone was running Emergency Plus without incident on IOS 16.7.12 until a few weeks ago. There are no outstanding updates. Now when I open the App it closes within seconds. The only version onthe App Store requires IOS 18.
As an emergency location aid this should not plan for device obsolescence, otherwise only those with a new phone can use it.
Is there an older version I can use?

### 1/5 — Crashes constantly

*2025-10-30, version 2.3*

Every time I open the app, it crashes. I’m on iOS 16, all software is up to date. Are you still supporting iOS 16?

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Easy and accurate

*2025-06-28, version 3.0*

The recent update has given the app a nice clean, easy to use front screen.
I haven’t had to use it in an emergency as yet.
Being an occasional grey nomad I often promote the app amongst other travellers.

### 5/5 — Absolutely fundamental

*2025-06-23, version 2.3*

This app should be mandatory for smart phone users.

### 5/5 — Top safety app

*2025-01-28, version 2.3*

Great app so simple to use definitely a lifesaver would like to have an option to add my contact person.

### 5/5 — Will this work on my iPad?

*2024-09-21, version 2.3*

It’s the 2018 model 4, with 15.8.3 software. I don’t have a Smartphone and have been told I won’t be able to make Emergency calls on my 4G feature phone after the 3G network is shut down, which is incomprehensible to me.
I think this is a great app. Hope I can use it.

### 5/5 — i reccomend downloading!

*2023-11-30, version 2.3*

this app helped me contact 000 swiftly when i needed it earlier today. i highly suggest this app to everyone as it is very useful in contacting the service you need quickly.

### 5/5 — Quick EASY CLEAR

*2023-05-09*

Get this and keep it in your Home Screen.
When you’re busy doing CPR emergency breathing this will save you time and life.
I have spoken

### 5/5 — Absolutely a must have

*2023-04-09, version 2.3*

I recently had a motorcycle accident on a dirt road in the middle of nowhere. Knowing I had a broken leg I needed help ASAP. Calling 000 and using the Emergency Plus App my friends were able to guide Emergency services to our precise location. Within 60 minutes I was receiving the help I needed and was airlifted to the nearest Hospital. I'll never travel anywhere without the latest version of this app. Greater than Five Stars!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2023-02-01, version 2.3*

This app looks great. We were made aware of it in a first aid class. My instructor suggested that having a list of where the defibrillators are around you in the app would be really helpful, too. Maybe in the next update? Thanks!

### 5/5 — Amazing app

*2022-11-03*

Best map on the store for exact location! Top job, amazed it has so few down loads 🤷🏻‍♂️If only Burke and Wills had installed it

### 5/5 — Medications

*2022-10-11, version 2.3*

Would be good to have a list of the person’s medications to communicate with emergency services.
