## What is EMF Detector?

Explore the magnetic and electromagnetic fields all around you with EMF Detector!

Your new iPhone 3GS can detect how strong the magnetic fields are with respect to the x, y, and z axes. Now you have access to this information in a interesting and responsive way.

Run the EMF Detector around your walls to discover any leaking electromagnetic fields (EMF) coming from faulty wiring (or paranormal activity!). Use it as a metal detector -- you'll notice that the needle will rise a bit when you place the device near ferromagnetic metals (such as steel and iron). Or, simply show off how cool your new iPhone 3GS is by watching the sin wave of EMF activity generated by a nearby motor is plotted before your eyes.

Simply load the EMF Detector on your 3GS iPhone, and you will immediately see the magnetic forces detected by the phone plot in real time, allowing you to easily identify fluctuations in magnetic (MF) and electromagnetic (EMF) fields. The computed magnitude of the detected field is also indicated by the needle display to aid you in hunting out those magnetic hot zones. Have fun!

## Key features

- Detects magnetic fields on x, y, and z axes
- Visualizes EMF activity in real-time
- Indicates computed field magnitude
- Functions as a basic metal detector
- Plots EMF activity as a sin wave

### 3/5 — App not working anymore

*2017-10-10*

It is a great app but says the creator has not updated it yet and now it doesn’t work. Bummer. Plz update your app, app dudes! Ty!

### 4/5 — Off Scale By Induction Cooktop

*2017-06-18*

On my iPhone 5 the 3 sensors are extremely directional. Checking my kitchen for HOT SPOTS, I discovered a TOTALLY OFF SCALE spot at the upper left front corner of my Kenmore Induction Cooktop even with unit off and safety ON. Strangely this Needle Pegged HOT SPOT is at the Kenmore Logo? I wish I knew why?

### 1/5 — Nope

*2016-11-06*

Doesn't work total rip off

### 5/5 — App Works

*2014-10-07*

One of the better apps out there!

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2014-05-05*

If i could rate zero stars i would, its not an emf reader at all, it uses the gps compass in your phone

### 1/5 — Confusing

*2014-03-31*

Wow this app appears to work there's no way of knowing what it's reading. Southern CA Edison came out and read my house and I had an average rating of the six. Unfortunately I can't remember the little digits after the six. Nonetheless with this meter it reads like a 20 then 30 then bounces to six then it bounced to 40. Again I don't know what the numbers represent and when I hit the info sign on the app that does nothing to give me any information.

### 1/5 — Do not buy

*2014-01-18*

It does not work at all. Rip off. If anything, it is a magnetic detector using internal compass, not an emf.

### 4/5 — Works alright

*2013-08-02*

I think the app is pretty good because when I tested it by putting a walkie-talkie close to it, the thing went nuts. I'm just confused as to why it stays around five most of the time.

### 5/5 — T.I.

*2013-05-23*

Supposing that I might be the victim of electronic harassment/RNM, including phase-array for behavior modification, sweeping my studio was very informative; Imagine my surprise when I found that the beams were voice and morse-code modulated! As with other similar devices, holding the unit close to metal or the body(especially fillings) affects the operation, as does wifi.
Recommended.

### 1/5 — Waste of money

*2011-05-18*

It does not work. The needle doesn't move at all, no matter what you do. This app appears to be abandoned by the developer.
