## What is Emoji Puzzle Mahjong?

The classic solitaire puzzle, built around emojis everyone already knows.

Emoji Puzzle Mahjong is a single-player tile-matching game based on the traditional Shanghai mahjong solitaire layout. 144 tiles are stacked up to five layers high in the iconic pyramid arrangement. Find two matching free tiles, tap to remove them, and work your way down to a clear board.

A tile is free when nothing sits on top of it and at least one side is open. That simple rule creates hundreds of decisions per game: which pairs to take first, which tiles to leave accessible, and when to use your tools.

The Tiles
Every tile displays one of 18 widely recognized emoji. There are no Chinese characters to learn, no suits to memorize. The symbols are immediately readable by anyone, making the game accessible from the very first tap.

Tools
Undo: reverse your last match at any time, without penalty
Hint: highlight a valid pair when you need direction
Shuffle: redistribute emoji across remaining tiles when no pairs remain

Statistics
A move counter and timer run each game. No leaderboards, no comparisons — just a record of your own progress.

Combos
Consecutive matches without errors build a combo streak. The game tracks your chain and notes when it grows.

Design
Tiles are rendered with a raised plaque aesthetic and subtle shadow depth. The board scales to fill the screen in landscape orientation on any iPhone or iPad. Full dark mode support follows your system setting automatically.

Privacy
No account required. No advertisements. No network requests of any kind. The game runs entirely on-device.
