I use this on an iPhone 16 Pro and use a wireless Microphone. The microphone pairs using a USB dongle and I clip the transmitter of the wireless microphone to my shirt which allows me to dictate easily and chats with patient and examine them without holding the phone in hand. The problem is this app after an update is ruined. We cannot select the wireless microphone as an option. On Heidi and Tali apps that I tried this works fine. So definitely and App issue. ### 5/5 — Life changing! It’s better than others *2025-03-06* Empathia has changed my life! I was a Freed user before and I have tried other AI scribes but Empathia is way better. The notes are super customizable and the customer service is fantastic. When I have problems and email the team they quickly call/email me within a few hours and they have taught me how to train my ai. They will walk you through each step along the way. I’m trying out their auto-fill forms and can use the app for patient calls to make notes too. It’s crazy how well it can capture an encounter. Can’t tell you how much time this is saving me. ### 5/5 — Easy to Use *2025-02-15, version 1.37.0* I like the app interface. Intuitive and user friendly. A lot easier to learn compared to EMRs. I like to use the Ai dictation feature. Super useful for Emergency and hospital work. I used to be so burnt out but now I actually look forward to my work day. I love that I am getting more face time with my patients. The team is also so responsive to any questions I have. I tried many AI scribes but ended up committing to Empathia because of all of the functions they are adding and the notes are the easiest to read. They are all good to some degree but there are some that are better. You simply have to find the right one for you and your use purposes, but I would advise you to look for a company that has strong clinician input and leadership to ensure that the tool suits the needs of grassroots clinicians Also, the number one thing you want out of AI scribe program is to have an efficient, effective amd accurate, well documented AI generated note. Not all companies are created equally. I’m very satisfied that the quality of the AI note generated with Empathia It is very sophisticated, flexible, accurate and reliable.
