## What is Empire FM?

Empire FM is an app for listening. Narrated audio series in short episodes that end right where you need to know what happens next. Press play, put your phone away and let the story keep you company.

Built for your ears, not your eyes
• Audio keeps playing with the screen locked or another app open.
• Controls on the lock screen and on your headphones.
• Playback speed from 0.5x to 2x, skip back 15 s, skip ahead 30 s.
• Sleep timer: stop after a few minutes or at the end of the episode.
• The next episode starts on its own.

Stories that ask for one more episode
Romance and drama by the episode: secrets at work, forbidden love, and a twist waiting at the end of each episode. The catalog is new and growing: new series go live as they finish narration.

Pick up where you stopped
Empire FM remembers where you stopped in every series. One tap on Keep listening, or in your Library, and you are back in the story.

You choose the narration language
The language you listen in is independent from the app language: you can listen in Portuguese with the app in English. Every series is narrated in English, Portuguese and Spanish.

How access works
• The first episodes of every series are free, with no account needed.
• After that, you choose: unlock with coins, wait, or subscribe.
• Coins: bought in packs in the app's Store. They unlock one or several episodes, always in order. They never expire, and auto-unlock only works on series where you turn it on.
• Wait and listen free: after each waiting period, one episode per series unlocks at no cost. The timer is shown in the app.
• Premium subscription, optional: every episode of every series, no coins, no waiting and no interruptions, plus downloads for offline listening.

The app shows no third-party ads. If you listen for free, every few minutes you hear a short message from Empire FM itself inviting you to subscribe. It does not play for subscribers or on episodes unlocked with coins.

About the subscription
Empire FM Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription, available in monthly, six-month and annual plans. The price of each plan is shown in the app before you confirm. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the end of that period. You can manage or cancel the subscription in your App Store account settings, and access continues until the end of the period you already paid for. Coins are one-time in-app purchases; they cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash.
