They pay timely. My only issue is if the dispatcher thinks you are bidding too high they won’t send your bid in. They don’t want to pay for empty mile. They expect you to take .50 cent a mile and drive an hour for free. I literally sat waiting to be loaded for 4 hours and they paid me and extra $12. Ive literally bid $25-$50 higher with other companies to be told my big was to high by Empire and get the accepted for the higher bid else where. When they want to make money they are good and when they want to take money they are terrible. Horrible communication!!!!! *2022-10-20, version 1.5.6* This company will hound you constantly once you accept a load, you will be stressed about the delivery until you deliver it. They will call and text you from many, many, many different numbers asking for updates on your location and ETA’s. When the owner Nancy gets mad she doesn’t handle things on a business level, she takes it personally. I did a load for them, we had a disagreement and I told them that I would not be doing another one. Now they owe me and won’t pay, won’t answer my emails, so I am writing this review. Save yourself the emotional distress, this job is stressful already. I do not recommend this company. People who are smart will take my warning. I’m sure most of the good reviews are fake. Clean MC, fully compliant, ready to roll. No response. No booking. No explanation. This outfit does not communicate and does not respect carriers. Seems like they post loads to harvest rates, not to move freight. If you’re a serious operator under your own authority, steer clear. App is user friendly. In last few month I made a good money while the market was too bad. I survived and fed my family. My price was too high and I listened to their advise to don’t bid that high. They kept me super busy with the lower rate which mage me happy since I am busy. It is hard to believe the bad comments from ignorant people about this company.
