- Daily, Weekly and Event boards now rank your TOTAL for the period. Every battle you fight adds to it.
- One score, everywhere. The number the battle shows you is the number that reaches the board.
- Watch one ad and double speed stays with you for five minutes, across battles, with the time left shown on the results screen.
- New horizon: drawn ridges that sit behind each empire's landmark instead of covering it.
- Shop cards now fill their columns, so every name and description reads in full.

### 1.2.2 — 2026-08-11

Every battlefield now belongs to someone.

- Fight on your rival's ground: each empire's battlefield carries its own signature landmark — the pyramids of Egypt, the Parthenon above its rock, a Maya step temple, the mud mosque of Mali.
- Land worth marching over: pines in the snow, leaning palms in the desert, flat-topped acacia on the savanna, ferns and mossy boulders in the jungle.
- Strikes you can read: soldiers wind up before they swing and archers draw before they loose, so every blow has a beat before it lands. A front line locked in combat stops marching on the spot.
- Louder moments: the FIGHT! that opens a battle, a real ceremony when a rally brings you back from defeat, a boss barrage that finally lands, and veterans saluting a new rank.
- Castles fly their colours, damage numbers punch as they appear, and screen shake hits the way it always should have.
- Smoother for everyone: the faster battle renderer is now on by default.
- Menus that build themselves in instead of appearing all at once.
- Fixed: a heads-up display that could stall on some iPhones, and several gaps for players who prefer reduced motion.

The battle has been rebuilt to look and feel incredible.

- Smoother, faster battles: a new renderer drives fluid animation and clears the Android slowdown.
- Weapons that fight like weapons: swords slash, spears thrust, axes and hammers chop overhead, and cavalry swing from the saddle. Impacts land with real weight now, with camera shake and a satisfying hit-stop.
- Soldiers with identity: unit faces, regional beards and war paint, distinct helmets and silhouettes, and your empire's crest carried onto the battlefield.
- Castles that crumble: every empire family has its own keep that batters down through five damage states, with fire, smoke, rubble, and a final breach.

- Victory, celebrated: a new post-battle ceremony with a score count-up, Territory Secured banners, War-Pass rank-ups, and New Best stamps, plus a cleaner rewards screen with a 2x offer on every reward.
