### 2/5 — Marginally functional for remote deposits

This app is infuriating. It used to work okay, but seems to get worse with every update. It can’t see the checks I’m trying to deposit, keeps telling me to improve contrast or move camera closer. I can’t find any kind of lighting that it can read, indoors, outdoors in bright sun, under a tree, different angles, etc etc etc. it finally gets a shot and it might be half the check. After several tries I get a front and back pic that are readable, and the app has logged me out for taking too long.
It would be easier to put these checks in the mail, but now I’ve written “for mobile deposit only” on them, so that’s not an option anymore. 
I love the CU, the staff are always very nice, but they aren’t able to help with this problem.
