I’ve been playing it for maybe 2 weeks and it’s really fun. If you like fashion, this is definitely the game for you! No ads, and you can still do a ton in the game without ever spending a dime. If you want to you can, but you never HAVE to. It’s packed with a good storyline, beautiful clothes to play dress up, fashion competitions, dating, pets, various events, gardening, adventures etc. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because a lot of players can be childish and rude in chats. But the good thing is you can still do a ton on the game without ever interacting with people anyways! ### 3/5 — Long time player disappointed *2026-05-17, version 1.0.1* Don’t get me wrong it’s an amazing game. I’ve been playing this game for about four years now. But once you reach a specific level and/or have been a loyal paying player there are plenty of things the devs have not updated or fixed. They also stopped listening to players in the discord and through their customer service. (They haven’t updated the otherworld, the Destiny chart, the prison, the court roulette, AND FASHION FEST.) Fashion fest is practically useless in some servers because the participants are less than ten and then that means no one is allowed to vote or get the gem rewards at all. It’s bs. Multiple people in my server have begged the devs to fix it and they just give us a polite yet dismissive response. They have gotten very money hungry also. Things used to be more generous and that’s why so many people were playing at the time. But that was like.. two years ago. Now all they ever focus on is recycling the same outfit sets in events and making the ingot price of game token ridiculous so you pretty much can’t get anything except one or two items from a set max after an event. I really used to be a ride or die fan of this game and had multiple friends join because I loved it so much but they all stopped playing due to how the devs have been acting with the game lately. It’s sad and disappointing. Even other members in the server have been dropping like flies because of this and everyone on the discord is upset and disappointed as well. DEVS PLEASE MAKE SOME CHANGES YOU’RE LOSING YOUR FAN BASE! ### 3/5 — It’s good but… *2026-02-03, version 1.0.1* Everything is amazing, but my only little complaint is the events. They go by so quickly, and it’s hard to obtain the event currency in the mini games or save up ingots… It makes it very difficult to get the event-exclusive outfits when you’re a non-VIP. ### 3/5 — Beware of Bullies *2025-05-11, version 1.0.1* This game does not allow you to report bullies. The game despite that is fun. I suggest to not say anything in world chat until you are comfortable with the sever and everyone seems to be decent. You can only block someone. No option to transfer account to a more active server. Very frustrating. Reached the end of the storyline and now lucky to see a new chapter added every 2 or 3 months. The game would be more engaging if there were options to change to another server once one has too few players. Or if the developers would merge servers. ### 4/5 — Good game overall, some annoyances *2025-02-22, version 1.0.1* Overall I really enjoyed this game! My community was super amazing (tho I’ve heard otherwise from different servers) and I really enjoyed the early plot and a lot of mechanics. The outfits are fun and very pretty, and I like the many servants and general progression mechanics. The plot of the story, however, is repetitive and boring after a time. The emperor is frustrating (I have never hated a man more, he’s so stupid) and there are so many more minor characters (mostly the four love interests) that are so much more engaging but get little time to shine on their own. I also really hated how much irl money was necessary to gain items during events, as you could save 4000 gold and still not be able to make enough in a event to get a cool outfit. I may go back to play this game eventually but I got frustrated and wasn’t having fun. The graphics are stunning I truly do appreciate every detail.. regardless of my inability to comprehend just what the f/ck I’m playing. 💀 ### 4/5 — Decent, but easy to grow bored of. *2024-01-16, version 1.0.1* I played this game for about 3/4s of a year, and it was honestly really time consuming. I would spend 2-4 hours everyday on this game, and while it was rewarding at first, after a while it just became brain-numbing. The story is alright, but it’s hard to get prestige to play the story. There’s a lot of other things to do, but most of them have long refill times, and it’s nearly impossible to get everything done in less than an hour, so if that’s what you’re looking for, this is not it. It’s fairly easy to get ingots as a F2P player as long as you don’t spend them everyday (gaining around 800 daily) but you would still need 20k AT LEAST to complete any limited events, and there’s hardly ever a break between events to stock up on ingots again. Also, they only merged servers for events, so if you’re in a dead server, good luck being able to do Opera or Banquets, and you might as well say bye bye to Fashionfest because it won’t even start if not enough players signed up for it. There are some goods things though- the outfits are awesome and you get a free 4 star outfit every month for logging in, and I met some really great people in my server, although there’s like a 50/50 chance of getting a good server, since I've heard some are really toxic. I know I have a lot of complaints and not many compliments, but overall I did enjoy my time and I think that it’s worth a try. They have had a while now to sort this out, and their apparent refusal to do so says enough to me that this developer does not care about the experience of its players. They have been asked time and time again to fix this and have barely acknowledged the issue. Not good enough. ### 1/5 — Bullying allowed *2026-01-23, version 1.0.1* I’ve got screenshots of them telling me to kill myself, I’ve got screenshots of them personally attacking me, and my family, of saying disgusting things. I’ve reported it to the App Store and others in my server have reported it to the company and they’re not doing a thing. It’s extremely disheartening and evil. ### 1/5 — Bullying allowed against neurodivergent women *2025-08-03, version 1.0.1* They have allowed two people to just brutally bully a lady who is Audhd. When I tried to address the situation they spent money money money, and this platform banned me for standing up to the bullying. As long as they get the money, and as long as the bullies are spending, they will shut down every other voice. This is an app that has been taken over by liberal screamers who will do anything to win, including attempts at destroying a mentally challenged persons health, joy, and peace. I’ve been playing this game for more than 2 years being at the top of the leaderboard but with the lack of updates everyone starts catching up with you. Spending money previously to get a head is a waste because eventually you come to a dead end and can’t do anything. This game also has a bunch of inactive or dying servers and not one server merge has happened since the game launched. (There are features that require participants otherwise you don’t rank or win.) App keeps crashing. When u do things a little to fast it can’t take it and just crashes lol. Also users never log in so your group score goes down and all your hard work is for nothing. They need to change the days to 2 days instead of 7 especially if you are a group owner. Admittedly it is repetitive and there is some daily grinding, but they make it easier as you progress, and all the people in my server are really nice and it creates a relaxing atmosphere. You probably wont ever become empress tho lol Edit: I have tried playing many other empress games and always got stuck at some point and couldnt progress because of certain paywalls, which hasnt happened to me yet, so i would recommend this over other similar games.. looking at you revenge of the queen 🙄 ### 5/5 — My honest review: *2024-07-10, version 1.0.1* I have been playing this game for a little over 5 months now. First of all this game is very engaging, with an interesting story line and plenty to do, with frequent updates and events. The community is great for the most part and you don’t need to feel pressured to spend real life money on this game!. You feel like your making real progress, as levelling up isn’t to quick or too slow. There are only very minor nuances, like: people stealing crops, and occasionally you stumble across a player who’s just irritating but that’s no at all the game’s fault. There is no dark skin tones, African hair or even red hair options. ### 5/5 — Surprisingly Great! *2023-09-22, version 1.0.1* Like many people, I too assumed the game was going to be a money-suckling and quick-to-bore gacha where the “choices” don’t live up to what they seem. But boy, was i WRONG! This game is actually pretty addicting, there’s many things you can do. The story, interacting with other players, events, etc. The story is a pretty integral part of the experience, as it unlocks different mechanics (such as kids) and characters you can romance. The choices ACTUALLY have a purpose! While many lead to the same dialogue, depending on your choice, you’ll receive a certain amount of points that will get you to your “destiny”. Which is a story mechanic that will affect the outcome of your stay at the palace. and, you DON’T have to pay for any dialogue options (unlike many choice-based games.. ugh 🤢) It’s also pretty easy to spend no money or barely any, as the only thing that would force you to empty your wallet is to make it on the leaderboard and score high on some events. If your goal is to just have fun and enjoy the BEAUTIFUL graphics, characters, and clothing, it’s pretty easy to get in-game currency through daily tasks and etc. You can also obtain a lot of different currencies through simply waiting a few hours or until the next day. I will say, the only things in the game I find “scammy” or useless is the Silver Fish Koi Pond, as it regurgitates the same one/two star clothing and duplicates unlike it’s Gold counterpart. And ranking high in any of the leaderboards (How do those guys have so much money to waste?!) Overall, I would rate it a 4.5, but for the plot twist on it being an actual game and not a quick cash grab, I’ll give it 5 stars :) ### 5/5 — Addictive *2023-09-19, version 1.0.1* 2031374992 my code.
