Designed by a former software engineer turned emergency physician, EMRA Peds Meds features an extensive initial formulary, intuitive interface, and beautiful retina display quality graphics.

Other features include accurate weight for age estimation based upon CDC data, the ability to share your customized formulary with colleagues, students and friends, in-app video tutorials, and useful quick reference information such as normal vitals and ETT sizes for age.

### 1/5 — Not for Calculating Peds Dose

Be aware this app does not make calculations needed for peds dose. There is a calculator to figure average weight of age. Many children are not “average” weight, using this for determining dose would be irresponsible. 

The med list is given in a “range” of ml by age, again, not by weight. Don’t waste your money. Use your own calculations or use one on other app like Epocrates.

Went with the EMRA reputation but was disappointed--gives general info but doesn't even list clindamycin under antibiotics. I was seeking an app like Pedicalc (which apparently isn't available anymore) so I can look up the med and weight to come up with the proper dose. Should've invested my money in a different app.
