It loads so slowly, if at all. Even when it loads it can’t always handle itself; visible buttons won’t click because it runs so slowly. Even trying to post this review the app crashed. The is way too much fluff on the app; just have it load the content I subscribe too. It defaults to load the dashboard tab which is useless so I have to wait for it to let me click to audio. Even the audio tab has “continue listening” row that doesn’t work because it shows segments from a decade ago that I’ve never listened to. If I click “mark as listened” then that segment disappears and replaced with another never ending list of segments I’ve never listened to. Lastly, the new weekly format is dangerous. EMRAP has acknowledged that most listeners listen while driving. It used to be two easy access monthly chapters (EMRAP and EMA) but now they separate it to weekly so we have to do even more clicks that don’t load? Plus, each EMRAP chapter is inserted with several EMA summaries I’d have recurrently skip; just give me the autonomy to choose to listen to a summary or not. ### 3/5 — Video organization awful *2026-07-14, version 23.4.0* EMRAP as an educational organization is amazing but this app needs some seeious restructuring. It used to be much easier to stay on top of the new videos using the app. Now I don’t know which ones I have seen and which ones I have not. It’s all jumbled up. Love the content, hate the App. Haven’t been able to download it to my phone for years now. How at recess there was always this one student who would make these wild proclamations just so others might think they were cool? They’d say things like, “my dad can beat up your dad,” or, “my uncle once ate five whole watermelons,” or even, “I have a pet ghost,” and everyone would agree that yes, having a pet ghost does indeed make you cool. The way the kid would smile and cross their arms, knowing full well their friends were jealous of just how cool having a pet ghost would be. That is, until someone in the group would ruin the feeling by saying two tiny, yet powerful, words: “Prove it.” We here at EM:RAP know how quickly these two seemingly insignificant words can take the wind from your sails, the gas from your engine, or the spark from your sparkler. That’s why we’ve set about making it easier to prove which episodes you’ve listened to in our app. Before, playing an episode again eliminated the record of it having been played in the first place. With this update, that record is retained, no matter how many times you listen. We’ve also made several visual improvements to the video tab, and have polished the app’s layout. We’ve even added the ability to remove items from your Continue Listening carousel, just in case you’ve had your fill of one episode or another. As a bonus, we’ve made playlists more convenient with an expanded menu, and we’ve fixed a niggling bug which caused the app to over-report how much time was left in a chapter.
