## What is Emuplan Carewoker?

Emuplan Careworker is the companion app for support workers and care staff. It puts your roster, shifts, and participant information in one simple place so you can focus on delivering great care.

Plan your day
View your weekly roster and see every upcoming shift at a glance. Get a notification the moment a new shift is assigned to you, and pick up open shifts when you are available.

Start and finish shifts
Clock in and out from the app. Shift times are recorded accurately so your timesheet is always up to date.

Capture case notes
Write case notes quickly while the details are fresh. Use voice dictation to record notes hands free, and attach photos when you need to.

Record care observations
Log routine care charting such as turning and repositioning and other observations, all from your phone.

Know your participants
See participant details and shift locations so you arrive prepared for every visit.

Works on the go
The app keeps working when your connection drops and syncs your notes and timesheets automatically once you are back online.

### 1.11 — 2026-06-02

Employees who are Admins can now create and assign rosters directly in the app. Plus a fix for a rare freeze when finishing a shift, and general stability improvements.

### 1.8 — 2026-05-29

This update improves shift handling:

• Once you finish a shift it's now locked — if you open a completed shift you'll see a clear "shift completed" status instead of an error when trying to start it again.
• Shifts whose scheduled time has already passed can no longer be started.

### 1.7 — 2026-05-28

Whats new in 1.7.0

- The map on each shift now shows the participants real location instead of a placeholder. Tapping the map opens the address in your native Maps app.
- The WHERE section on the shift page now shows the full participant address (street, suburb, state and postcode).
- The 50m geofence at shift start and finish now works against the real participant address. If you are outside 50m, the app tells you the actual distance in metres.
- Fixed a bug where the home calendar could not be minimised on Today or Tomorrow when you had 0 or 1 appointments.
- Fixed scrolling on the home screen so the appointment list does not disappear off the top of the page when the calendar is collapsed.
- Minor stability and polish improvements.
