## What is EnChat?

Talk to people, not to a chatbot. Then turn what they correct into English you actually own.

EnChat gives you a small cast of English speakers with real backgrounds — a Boeing 787 captain, a café owner who used to design products, a sous chef, an ER doctor — each with their own job history, interests and lifelike voice. You open the app to a chat list, not a lesson menu. Say something, and they answer the way that person would.

• Start with one partner chosen for your goal; meet the others whenever you like
• Every partner has a job, a work history, interests and a way of talking
• They remember your conversations — the trip you mentioned, the job you are preparing for

• Rewrite any partner into someone you actually want to talk to
• Interested in flying? Give them an airline career and every conversation grows out of it
• Type one line — “an ER nurse” — and let AI write a coherent background you can edit
• Choose their accent, their manner, and their voice

TURN FEEDBACK INTO FLUENCY
• Finish the thought first; corrections wait until you are done
• See focused fixes for grammar, word choice, tone, and clarity
• Use Help Me Say It when you know the idea but not the English
• Shadow corrected phrases and compare your pronunciation word by word

PRACTICE WITH PRIVACY CHOICES
Raw audio is never uploaded; speech is transcribed on device. If you turn on recording playback, your recordings are written only to that device — never uploaded, never synced — and are cleared automatically. Choose Standard mode for the best AI conversation, Enhanced Privacy to send less context, or Local mode to keep content on device where supported. Learning records stay on your device; eligible plans can enable private iCloud sync.

Every partner is a fictional character generated by AI, not a real person, and will tell you so if you ask.

Built for adult learners from A1 to C1 who want better English for everyday life, work, interviews, travel, exams, and social conversations.

Some features and higher daily limits require an auto-renewing subscription. Customizing partners and higher lifelike-voice allowances are part of paid plans; when the daily voice allowance runs out, practice continues with the built-in device voice. Availability of on-device features depends on device and language support.
