This app is incredible. If you do run into an issue, drop into the Discord and you’ll get help almost instantly. Gonna be using this one for a long time.

I just updated the app and it wiped all of the NPC’s PC’s and monsters I had been adding for a month! If you plan on updating figure out a way to save or export what you have!!!

I used to love this app. It had so many useful features that really sped up DnD 5e combat AND DnD planning. Making characters, npcs, and other statblocks was super smooth and intuitive.

HOWEVER, after the v5 update, everything sucks. Some features have straight up disappeared, while others have become more difficult to use. My friend even had all of his existing statblocks erased. All of his work put in over the years to make homebrew monsters, just instantly erased. It’s like they used AI to write this update.

I’m still using this app while I finish up my campaign, but as soon as the campaign is over, I’m looking for a different tool. I used to recommend this to all DMs, new and veteran alike, but I simply can’t stress enough how much the v5 update ruined this app.

I had spent hours upon hours fleshing out the compendium in the app for my future games when an update I never queued completely deleted all of my content but including all the basic basic spells and monsters for 5e. I’ve already imported and installed their damn 5e rule set and everything is still completely gone. Not a single monster stat block, not a single PC, not a single spell. They deleted literally everything I had spent so many hours compiling.

I used to absolutely love EncounterPlus. Before the recent updates, it was hands down one of the best tools for running D&D campaigns. Everything felt smooth, intuitive, and reliable. Unfortunately, after being forced to upgrade, the app has become practically unusable for me.

References constantly fail to work, editing inside pages causes the page to freeze, and writing or editing content has turned into a frustrating process where I constantly have to back out of pages and reopen them just to type anything. What used to be streamlined and enjoyable now feels like an absolute nightmare to use.

It’s really disappointing because the core app is fantastic when it works. I genuinely want to love it again, and I hope the developers fix these bugs soon because right now the experience is incredibly rough.

This is an amazing app and basically the only good on device iPad app for virtual tabletops. However having some of the premium features behind a recurring paywall is unfortunate. Having an alternate additional payment method to buy those features outright would be awesome ^_^. Regardless keep up the great work on making the app better and better to use.

You took a once useful, solid DnD gaming aid and app turned it into a hot mess. Erased years of my data and took what was once was easy to use templates and menus and made them into baffling, laborious affairs. I don’t know if you were seeking to become DnD beyond jr but the results are terrible. Avoid this app at all costs!

The description gave the impression I could create custom maps and token in the app but I don’t see how. The Help Center isn’t helpful. I purchased Battle Map but don’t see how to do anything with it. The Help Center gets into tools, settings, Layers, etc, but doesn’t show how to actually get to Battle Map. It’s not on my desktop and I don’t see any button of icon for it. This is useless to me.
