But I’m afraid I am disappointed due to a large section of this recording being given over to an all be it, inspirational story which demonstrates what can be achieved with a positive outlook on life. However, I would prefer the affirmations to be in the positive than in the negative. Researching mind work and wellness it is clear that negative affirmations are counter productive. The script could read more like "you are productive and effective, releasing personal barriers and being successful in all that you desire to succeed in." instead of like "you are self sabotaging, stop that. " the brain hears the words self sabotage over and over in this script. It very well may be counter productive. Bummer, because it was really well recorded. The concept is spot on! It’s hard to stay deeply relaxed when you keep thinking that the recording has suddenly stopped. Help me sleep so much. I usually use the long introduction and usually asleep before I get all the way down the stairs. I do think the hypnosis has helped with self sabotage, anxiety and other issues. I have used it for anxiety as well as other issues and the messages have been healing for me.
