### 4/5 — Frozen Path

*2024-08-19, version 1.0.0*

I am enjoying this game. The story is interesting & for me, these adventure/hidden object games (with a hint button…always with a hint button) are great entertainment.

### 4/5 — Bon

*2022-03-10, version 1.0.0*

### 4/5 — Quite good

*2020-08-22, version 1.0.0*

Not bad gameplay and storyline. No interesting extras. Can’t go back and find missed morphing objects which is disappointing.

### 4/5 — Fun to play

*2020-08-09, version 1.0.0*

Puzzles not tricky

### 4/5 — Bisschen kurz

*2020-07-24, version 1.0.0*

### 4/5 — Enjoyed it!

*2018-08-11, version 1.0.0*

Although the theme of Norse mythology wasn’t delved into that deeply, knowing the basic gods was enough to make this enjoyable. The scenery was great, and I loved the music in the Underworld. The HOS were varied, much more so than in any other game I’ve played; lists, silhouettes, FROGS, and interactive. The puzzles were fairly easy, but at least they were different from the norm. I loved collecting the little flamblings, in different colors, with their child laughter.😀

### 5/5 — Really liked this one

*2018-08-05, version 1.0.0*

Nice length, interesting storyline. No glitches!
Worth buying on sale.

### 5/5 — Great game

*2018-07-01, version 1.0.0*

The puzzles are hard I had to skip most of them , but the game is great

### 5/5 — Wow, brilliant game !

*2018-06-30, version 1.0.0*

I loved this game straight away, a really long trial and I had played the previous one as well. A great mixture of puzzles which were all achievable though some harder than others, the hos were a great mixture as well and never boring, other developers take note. The map was really good but did need it to save going back, hardly needed the hint button. The main game and bonus were a good length, I didn’t find all the collectibles and you can’t get them at the end either. I don’t know why you would want to attempt all the puzzles again though so not much in the extras. A great buy when on sale, would never pay the full price.

### 5/5 — Wonderful new series

*2018-06-29, version 1.0.0*

Now we have a game worth the Big Games name. When I downloaded this game I was struck with the similarity to the ones sold by Artifex Mundi. The visual scenery was stunning. The plot line was wonderfully written. I hope for future well written and beautifully designed games.

### 4/5 — Endless Fables: Frozen Path by LynxMinx

*2018-06-29, version 1.0.0*

I apologize if anyone was waiting for me to review in order to decide on purchasing this game. I passed out without any warning and fell, injuring myself. I am in a lot of pain!
On to the game. This game seemed more like a game distributed by Artifex Mundi as opposed to BigFish. Those of you who are familiar with the game mechanics of each developer (I think this was Sunward) will know what I am trying to say.
You could customize settings. The graphics were beautiful and well executed and the cut-scenes seemed like they were 3-D. Although there was no cohesive journal, objectives or tasks were regularly updated. The storyline fell under the mythology/fantasy genre but it was not a strong and exciting storyline; I would have liked to see more actual historical/mythological components. A teleport map was provided to transport you instantaneously between locations. This game was quite linear so there were only a few locations at a time. At each location there were collectibles, and there were two types: morphing objects and flame fairies. An indicator light was provided so that you would know if you had found all the collectibles at that location. You can’t return to a location at a certain point so find them first! Inventory was labeled and interactive and there were complex items to assemble. It was simple to use inventory tools because you didn’t have to drag them; tap the tool, tap the spot where you need to utilize the tool, and voila! The HO scenes had variation and if you didn’t feel like completing them, in certain HO scenes there was an alternate puzzle in the form of pair matching. We were given many puzzles/games; however most were either extremely simplistic or of the boring rotational genre. There was not as much to do at each location although a few locations had a plethora of tasks, which were enjoyable to complete. Gameplay was smooth and this game was entertaining to play. Inclusive of the bonus adventure it wasn’t overly lengthy but it was still quite a bit longer than anything we have been given in a while. If you played the first game (Minotaur’s Curse) this one wasn’t quite as good.
I deducted a star due to the trite and repetitive storyline and for the boring selection of puzzles. However this was still a good solid game!
Lynxie wishes all gamers a happy 4th of July and tells you please don’t bother with that ridiculous game we were just given by BigFish (Witch’s Tale) but please do COMPLAIN to BigFish!

### 5/5 — Good Game

*2018-06-28, version 1.0.0*

New and different tasks to do. Quite entertaining.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — 😏

*2018-07-15, version 1.0.0*

Stopped playing it found it really boring .

### 1/5 — Zum Game

*2018-07-06, version 1.0.0*

Zu leicht, Rätsel wiederholen sich immer, ist das Geld nicht wert.

### 1/5 — Stop asking

*2018-07-02, version 1.0.0*

Stop begging for reviews in middle of game play

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2018-06-30, version 1.0.0*

The Music stinks, the puzzles were so stupid,I skipped most of them and I deleted the game probably 1/4 of the way through it! If I could rate it no stars I would. Did I tell it was a dumb game. I usually play a game before buying it but not this time because the reviews so good I thought what heck, at least it was on sale. Never written a negative review but then again I have never deleted a game before I finished it. I am shocked it got such good reviews. Makes you wonder if they are just made up

### 1/5 — Jeux

*2018-06-26, version 1.0.0*

Pas terrible

### 1/5 — Nicht neu!!

*2018-06-25, version 1.0.0*

Wurde vor ca. einem Jahr von Artifex veröffentlicht. Hm...

### 2/5 — Okay game

*2018-08-04, version 1.0.0*

I bought this game only because it had good reviews and was on sale.
The game was too short for my liking.
The puzzle was ridiculous. The ending was crappy and the game didn’t have much of an action I was hoping for.
My biggest complaint is that the game did not have an achievement section that most games that I have played have.

### 3/5 — Too much going back and forth to other areas.

*2018-08-02, version 1.0.0*

Keep it simple so I’m not going back and forth so much. Stay in same area until it is done then go to next area.

### 3/5 — Frozen Angel

*2018-07-14, version 1.0.0*

When I need to skip a puzzle,I would like to see how the puzzle is solved. That way I can do it next time and learn. Also, I don’t like it when the Strategy Guide is on the opposite side of the skip button. Sometimes, I accidentally hit the skip button when I am still working on the puzzle. I do like the fast recharge.

### 3/5 — This Fable Froze Me In My Tracks!

*2018-06-27, version 1.0.0*

NOTE TO BIG FISH:

I was so looking forward to a new release today (Wednesday, June 27), and, unfortunately, any hope I had was abruptly quashed upon seeing the newly released game "Witch's Tale." This game is in no way a hidden-object adventure (HOA); instead, it offers various hidden-object scenes and puzzles in a level-based format. To say the least, I am shocked that BF chose to release a game of this type of gameplay — something that I've never seen before since I started playing HOAs years ago. To further exacerbate my frustration, next Wednesday is July 4, which most likely means that starting this weekend, another "sale" of older games most of us previously played will be effectuated, thus supplementing Sunday's new release with this sale. I'm sure the sale will extend past July 4, meaning that we might not see a new release until Sunday, July 8 — which is ridiculous. I hope that I am wrong and a new release will appear later on today, but I'm not getting my hopes up. I have been diverting my attention towards other hobbies, as it seems transparent that this irksome trend will continue. I hope more of you will express your anger to get your point across that better service is expected for us loyal customers.

I was looking forward to a cultural and historical experience in Norse mythology and instead became underwhelmed by the unexciting manner in which the Norse theme was integrated into the storytelling. Furthermore, the tediously executed plot crawls at a slow pace and is hampered by uneventful periods. The characters are forgettable; you briefly meet them and don't see them again. To sum it up, I was not in love with the storyline.

The graphics are finely rendered, as the visuals are sharp and clear enough to see the outlines of details.

The gameplay offers a mixed bag of goods. The highly diverse and interactive HOSs steal the show; my favorite was the "Find and Use" fashion. The items used are thematic, and they suit the artistic designs of the settings. Most of the puzzles are simplistic and solvable in a few minutes. But they are entertaining and varied enough to please many players. There are two sets of collectibles; one set will morph. There are no "extra" extras, such as going back to collect missed collectibles. There are numerous tasks to effect within each scene; however, the entire game, including the bonus, is short. For me, the HOSs are the memorable aspects of this game. I did not experience any technical glitches. Overall, it is, in my opinion, an average game, and hence the three stars.

I played this game when it was new, but am playing it again now a second time. Vivid colors, creative artwork. And better than usual HOPs. The hint button is the prettiest, coolest hint button I've ever seen. I like attention to small details. Game has kept its smooth playing power. Recommend
