### 2/5 — Disappointing

*2020-03-21, version 4.3*

Endless lake isn’t so endless. Now there are levels to complete. Short and not nearly as fun as it was on the messenger app. Would love to try his game again if it would go back to that.

### 2/5 — Used to be better

*2019-05-04, version 3.0*

Now there’s levels instead of it being “endless”. You can play on “endless” mode but the level will end if you don’t find a trapdoor to another level! Not endless or cohesive at all. I like the colors of the new levels but having them be backgrounds to endless would be better. Sad. This used to be one of my faves. I even paid for the “ad free” option and guess WHAT?! Still a ton of ads. Yuck. (Also I got to level 181 and the track is broken there’s no beating it. I can’t add a picture or I would.)

### 3/5 — too many ads

*2020-01-31, version 4.3*

bro i played this game in high school and became the queen, now every two seconds an ad pops up and i have to wait 10 years before continuing!! LET ME PLAY IN PEACE PLEASE I USED TO LOVE THIS GAME

### 3/5 — Got worse

*2019-09-25, version 4.3*

Used to be a lot more fun to play and you’d play until you died, no levels. Guess it’s not really “endless” anymore.

The new animal characters are really bland to the old characters, which included things like dragons which left trails behind and were visually appealing. Game looks really bland now.

### 3/5 — Bland compared to prior versions

*2019-03-27, version 3.0*

This used to be a game I really enjoyed in the Facebook messenger app, and while it looks the same this is a weaker version of the game.

The game works like this. You play a small cute creature that jumps gaps to avoid falling into the water to reach the end of the level. As you travel you sometimes split into clones and this creates some challenge as you get extra points for the clones surviving.

However, as the name Endless used to imply, the map went on longer, and I feel it used to be more of a challenge. Truly endless. It took forever for me to reach the point I could unlock a new character and I felt I earned it. It took me no time on pointless levels that last maybe a minute and are followed by adds to get the funds to unlock a new guy.

This game could be more, I feel it used to be. But now it’s a add farm that drives no challenge.

### 4/5 — Still fun

*2019-11-12, version 4.3*

Love playing this when I need some time to kill, however I was hoping the same character from
The Facebook version of the game was unlock able!! Please include him in a future update!!

Also it takes A LOT of time to grind coins to unlock all the characters.

### 5/5 — Great game

*2020-06-08, version 4.3*

I remember playing the original on Facebook about 4 years ago. The colors fit really well in this game, giving it a nice feel when you play. The landscape is designed very well in my opinion, and the structure that you see above the water gives off the monument valley type feel to it. It’s very nostalgic when I play it.

### 5/5 — Still great after all these years

*2019-09-13, version 4.3*

I’m kind of sad Endless Lake isn’t available as a game in Facebook Messenger anymore, but the standalone version is just as good as I remember it being some years ago. 5/5
